Battlegrounds are technically disabled. You can't just randomly soloqueue for games but you can still enter battlegrounds if you do a wargame, which is where two teams challenge each other. Permadeath is still active in wargames.

The premier form of PvP is the "Duels to the Death" system which replaces regular duels. You can do /makgora at someone and your duels will end in someone dead while the winner gets a buff called "String of Ears", indicating how many people you've killed in a duel.

If you accept but run away during the duel, you get a debuff called "Coward" for 3 days.


No one actually really does it unless they're playing on low level characters or they're trolling someone. Kinda like challenging someone while you're wearing trash gear and then using an addon to instantly swap to BiS gear as the duel is counting down to start.

To be fair I'm not sure conspiracyposting is necessary, it could just as easily have been some of his most rabid gunt-guards (who apparently infest YouTube), though it would be extremely funny if someone were to leak Discord messages showing coordination on his part. I know he seems to have Google alerts set up for his name, because he replies to and takes down videos about him with less than 1000 views, so he almost certainly knows about this thread.

Yes but instead of accidentally doing an action against a flagged player that would flag you, it will tell you that you can't complete this action until you flag yourself. Flagged NPCs will flag you if they attack you. There's some quests and bugs that can flag you, like some dwarf NPC in Wetlands somehow flagging people for pvp.

Nigga do you know how aggro works in these games? Do you know that frost mages have jobs to do when a run call gets made and aren't supposed to be run away scaredy bitches? Imagine picking a specific class with a specific role, one that you're literally on record talking about how nothing can go wrong if that class is played right, going so far as to state the basic primer of what to do when shit hits the fan as said class, then doing none of that, and instead doing the literal least helpful things you could have done. Again though, it's not that he totally fucked everyone over that's the issue for most people, it's that he refuses to say, yeah, I really fucked that up. Maybe he should consider being a different class if he wants to to whatever he wants, but other classes would get called out on leeching if he was playing them.
