What was the title of the video about his game that was linked in the OP? It's private now.

He has his chat pixelated on stream so I don't know if there's clips of him reacting to/reporting these
>MALDAVIUS FIGTREE, I'M GOING TO KILL YOU!!!
>In World of Warcraft?
>NO, IN REAL LIFE

he could alienate every single major world of warcraft streamer, and by extension the entire wow community. I think that is probably unlikely, but I also thought that he would stop talking about this days ago and let it fade away.
Already happened. Meanwhile the entire WoW community is shitting on him hard. What a lot of people don't understand about the WoW community is that they will take the most innocuous comment and twist it into a meme they can spam for 10 years straight. There's a boss in the second expansion that says "In the Mountains" in a slightly weird way and the community has spammed that fucking phrase for like the past 15 years. Maldy showed up and served them a full course dinner and they're running wild with it. Asmon is the only one that has defended him, whether be it because of connections or because he's farming ragebait. Asmon is completely alone in his defense of Maldy.
Jesus, he's getting toasted all the way from Korea

is there any evidence he hacked power plants for the government?
any photos, videos, a short of him telling a story there
i know its on his linked in he did but is their any evidence?
you wonder how he got the job with how awful his code is
There is not a sliver of evidence that Jason has ever hacked anything. Ever.

What I think happened:
Maldavius Figtree was a member of a team of people tasked with watching stock footage safety videos and putting passwords on routers.

He played a hacking game on stream a couple times and complimented the devs on how realistic it is (one of them is an 'mmo' I think) Does that count? :story:

You could hire a bunch of college cyber security students to "hack" power plants if you give them direct access to their shitty windows 98 machines to run metasploit against

:disagree: Eve Online. too toxic
:disagree: World of Warcraft, too toxic

what MMO is next? it may be YOURS.
I'd say ashes of creation but that shit is never coming out or its coming out half baked like a premature baby.

I love the fact that it is being bad at WoW that is doing him in.

We are so cooked as a generation lmao
-Game Development Fraud - nope.
-Lying about being an experienced coder - nope.
-Anti Stop Killing games - nope
-Creepy driving to visit minors - nope
-Furry Ferret Shelter shit - nope
-Roaching out as an ice mage in a 20+ year old game CANCEL THE FUCK

Maldavius Figtree is a SOCIOPATH. More than a big ego, more than a narcissist, not just a weirdo, but a sociopath who poses a threat to weak minded people who aren't careful around him. Here is an AI generated breakdown of my diagnosis.

Based on the information you've provided, here's a summary of how this individual's behaviors align with traits commonly associated with sociopathy (Antisocial Personality Disorder).

Key Behaviors and Corresponding Sociopathic Traits:

  • Non-apology and refusal to take accountability: This demonstrates a lack of remorse or guilt for the negative consequences of his actions on others. Even when directly confronted and urged to apologize, he minimizes his role and shifts blame.
  • Intentionally wasting mana and then feigning helplessness: This is a clear example of manipulative and deceitful behavior. He deliberately creates a situation to avoid responsibility and deceives his group members into believing he is incapable of helping.
  • Smiling and laughing while sabotaging the game: This suggests a callous disregard for the well-being of others and a potential enjoyment of their distress. This is a particularly strong indicator of sociopathic tendencies.
  • Refusing to listen to criticism and leaving the voice chat: This demonstrates an avoidance of accountability and a disregard for the feelings of others. He prioritizes avoiding confrontation over addressing the harm he caused.
  • Reporting other guild members for mocking his behavior: This is a manipulative use of rules or authority to silence dissent and control the narrative. It also reflects an intolerance of criticism and a sense of entitlement and victimhood.
  • Altering his voice with a microphone and fabricating a story about a "second puberty": This is further evidence of deceitfulness and a willingness to create false narratives to maintain a desired image.
  • Wearing a mage hat and being involved in the furry community (in this specific context): While these activities are not inherently problematic, in combination with the other behaviors, they contribute to a pattern of creating a persona and manipulating perception. They also suggest a lack of self-awareness or disregard for social appropriateness.
Overall Pattern:

The consistent pattern emerging from these behaviors includes:

  • Lack of remorse/empathy
  • Manipulative and deceitful behavior
  • Callous disregard for the well-being of others
  • Avoidance of accountability
  • Creation of false narratives
  • Intolerance of criticism
  • Sense of entitlement and victimhood
These traits, taken together, strongly suggest the presence of sociopathic tendencies.

If you follow infosec/computer security shit closely then you'll know there are exposed servers for all sorts of shit (I've seen screenshots of control panels for water infrastructure, ski lifts and all sorts of shit--like literally if some 16 year old kid got into one of these things they could end up killing people). Every day more and more crazy ass shit gets hacked into and few people are even aware (nowadays a lot of it is for ransomware).

It doesn't really require someone with mad programming skills to "hack into" something that is poorly secured in the first place - those are not the same thing. If you were an evil person who wanted someone to hack Bill Gates' satellite you wouldn't really be looking for someone who can do neat and tidy coding in Visual Basic.
For all anyone knows he could be very skilled in that area but I doubt it because those skills can pay fucking mad money (assuming those claims line up with some time period before he was working for Blizzard and complaining about the provided salary).

While also deleting his VOD containing his POV and reactions to the incident. As far as I am aware there is no surviving copy of the full stream
I made this mistake earlier, YouTube eats VODs over 12 hours automatically but they're still up on Twitch, to Jason's credit.
The roach incident happens at around hour 8, and around 7:30 there's a first incident before they decide to run it back and the big one happens.

Everyone’s shitting on him, everyone knows his fagtree furry bs, everyone’s coming to kiwifarms, he gets kicked from his guild and is seething so bad. We’ve added 50 pages over this.
The best part about the whole thing is that him scuffing in the dungeon isn't even what ultimately led to this, like yeah he fucked up but so too did the tank for aggroing more mobs than the party could handle. No what did him in was his egotism, and in particular his inability to take any responsibility for his failings which has been a consistent theme throughout this thread. Had he just acknowledged his fuck up, apologised for it, and offered to help level the replacement characters with gear or carries to make up for it, then this whole thing would have blown over and he probably would have ended up appearing better off for it for acting like an adult for a change.

Instead he just had to double down, because in his mind he literally cannot be anything else than the smartest guy in the room, with the deepest voice, and the best game knowledge. And now because he couldn't swallow his pride for just a couple of minutes, the worst thing that could have happened to him has, the normies know.

99.9% of cyber security work is reading logs all day. 95% of 'hacking' is accessing already insecure services. It's literally the easiest shit ever if you have an IQ above 95 and know computers and networking well enough. The average techy farmer could probably get a net+ and sec+ cert after a month or two of studying

I glanced at this thread Monday because this guy is someone who has mildly been on my radar. He's a master of shorts (for the most part). I saw a few shorts and agreed, but digging deeper I kinda felt he was a dumbass. Saw some stuff proving it and glanced at the thread. Forgot and since I checked it has gained 30+ pages. Fuck me, I got some reading to do.

True and I think people would be surprised (or unsurprised) just how much a total amateur on an adrenaline rush can do with a compromised password to a single account or by finding some test account. Supposedly the best hackers/computer security people are video game hack creators because they're generally purely fueled by adrenaline and not the sort of person to sit through boring certification/degree shit.

It's also no surprise that the US government had a hard time hiring hackers because so many of them smoke weed and do drugs.
