I feel like he was doing it for clout but then his streaming career took off. In the past, I've abandoned portfolio pieces I've been working on as soon as I got a job I was trying to get. It's different because this was a kickstarter, though. Pretty lame of him.

Looping isn't really that big a deal if the instructions in that loop just have single instructions. lists are fast to access if it uses simple integer indexes. The most fastest operation a cpu can do is a loop, everything is in a loop (main thread is an example) but the way this guy codes is like that digital artist who has to draw everything pixel by pixel trying to make a photo realistic render of his furfag shit. At least his accessors are integers and not strings.

Sorry for the late reply, didn't see your response. I've always read that well-designed dictionaries are the way to go if you want performance, and this goes doubly for interpreted languages like python which is known for slow looping. But I'm not an expert. The statement about the simple integer indexes is interesting though, and not something I considered. That probably would speed it up.
