Just look at this shit from khronos, who is not an attorney or even in the US and is talking to an indie dev about a seethe DMCA...
Pretending he hasn't been directly involved from the start with a smug "heh looks like you were warned about this

"
Try to intimidate with a tough guy legal larp.
After feeling like he wins, khronos does his smarmy "heh good job on the game" to end on a disingenuous good note... but a couple of hours later does an implicit threat with the "Nice doxx bud," closing the ticket once he got what he wanted. The "professional" facade drops as soon as he thinks he got one over on the victim. Impotent janny feels powerful in the moment.
Now compare khronos' behavior to when he's talking to an actual lawyer.
Immediately dispels the notion that he's an attorney. So Mald lied and khronos didn't correct him to the community. Lawyer larp from a professional janny to bully people online. The jokes write themselves.
Khronos tries to end this conversation quickly, knowing a true and honest attorney is immune to his janny tricks. Not that it keeps him from
lying about the situation, saying that Mald's voice was initially planned to be used in the game and how it was removed in lieu of voice acting. So comfortable with lying and in writing too. Mald isn't sending his best.
Khronos also tries to continue his larp with nuance of "lawyer" vs "attorney." This doesn't even matter, he can be an amazing, practicing attorney in the UK who knows everything about US copyright law, he cannot legally represent Mald regarding this issue anyway. It's purely performative as a bully scare tactic and show of force for the viewers. It's indefensible behavior so instead of defending it, they will ignore it aside from trying to quietly trying to bury it.
