Being honest, the recipe seems okay, and cheese sauce as part of a bread dough is a cool idea which I may even try. The fact his recipe is in cups and ounces instead of grams does sour the super-baker vibe he's trying for, though. If he had an ounce of humility I might even compliment the creativity. The most impressive thing in this video by far is the VTuber's setup.
I googled cheesey bread with beer and the first result is a recipe that has this exact process. I assume he did the same

>Mald gets influx of negative heartbound reviews
>Mald complains to valve that he's being reviewed bombed
>Valve sides with the reviewers, the reviews stay up
>Valve makes all games in Early Access display a counter now with "Number of Months since last Update"
>Heartbound has not been updated in 13 months
Shit is tragic.

I wonder how long it will take for people at DefCon or other InfoSec circles to turn their gaze on him. I don't wanna have to hear him say "I haxxed power plants for the government" one more time.

That's what I expected, and I don't doubt you found it, but I tried the same searches and didn't find any recipe which adds cheese sauce into the dough as opposed to the normal process of just adding shredded cheddar into regular dough. Trying specific quoted phrases like "American cheese" didn't yield anything either, but after trying again with the word "sauce" just now I did manage to find a nearly identical recipe which uses Velveeta where he uses American slices.
I absolutely hate defending Jason but I do it because being fair and focusing on what he can be 100% nailed on minimizes the ability to defend and deflect.
There's plenty enough to dunk on without standing on shaky ground: Measuring flour in volume measurements like cups alone is enough for me to confidently say he's an amateur, the idea he bakes bread every day and has created hundreds of recipes from scratch is laughable, and the "I told you to add salt and pepper!" blunder is the classic confidently wrong gaslighting pattern.

Measuring in cups is kind of USA tardiness, tv chef's who cock / bake lately tend to including both measurement, just in case for the wider audience reach... Maldy didn't think through the conversation rate's before the collab i would write up as usa default-ism.

In bakery scale i assume not even using this kind of measurement at all just BULK, like 2 industrial sack of flour and 2 canister of milk 4 industrial pack of butter and 2 tray of egg into the industrial mixer and portioning the dough whatever is the local measurement is...

are there any actual patch notes for his alleged beta updates?
On his discord...

For a most things, sure, but with bread it's less of a imperial/metric distinction and more of a volume/weight distinction. Bread is notoriously finicky to get consistent with the proportions of flour and water and different brands of flour vary in density, so using weight instead of volume is bread 101. I am American and love freedom units for most things, but someone with as much experience as Jason claims to would absolutely not have their recipes be in cups without even mentioning grams; maybe ounces, but in practice I don't see that since the precision of grams is much better for bread.

Of course you can make decent bread with rough volume measurements, but for bread recipes in particular it's a significant red flag to have volume measurements only, American or not.

So heres the one I found, it was actually for a bread maker but that would honestly make sense in Mald's case https://www.food.com/recipe/beer-and-cheese-bread-84751

That's fucking amazing. Also, it's a feature Steam has needed for a long time to spot abandonware since they just let devs leave shit in "early access" for a damn decade at a time.

"The last update made by the developers was over 13 months ago. The information and timeline described by the developers here may no longer be up to date" HAHAHA

Unfortunately this means he can just game it by pushing the tiniest of updates out to get rid of the tag.

Valve recently started adding notifications to Early Access games, warning potential buyers about the lack of updates:

Think he got a heads up? And that's why he added a Hashtag symbol to the game's font to avoid it.
I do love this though. Perfect to make his greasy self sweat a little bit more.

And yet he still hasn't!

Damn I was looking forward to a lolsuit. I wonder if Mald would wear an American flag tie.
We fortunately / unfortunately know what his attire would be.

The American Tie is reserved for Billy Mitchell as time goes on his goatee and American tie is the only way we'll be able to tell Mald and Him apart.

Wasn't he a solicitor (some weird UK legal title) that gave legal advice to the public?
He's twisted his work experience to lawyer like Jason twists his bot banning to Offensive Security Specialist.
Kronos is very likely from the UK, and he quit his legal job not long before the OnlyFangs drama started.
