Sorry guys I'm retarded. I didn't read the post fully and assumed it was another death. As an apology, I'll post this funny:
Apparently Blockgame was in continuous operation for three years until recently when Jason announced he'd be wiping ALL progress made on the server. Why? Because of the "power imbalances" between players and the new update, "Neith".

>We're also going to be unbanning anyone banned for non-insane crimes. This includes anyone banned for exploitation of game mechanics but not for things like racial slurs. If you got banned for the latter stay banned and stay mad.
Mfw calling someone a slur is an insane crime.
Now this is hilarious

I may be wrong in saying this but it seems like Blockgame uses a plugin called Towny. It's a plugin that allows you to create a "faction" or town and invite others to it. You claim land for the town and build together with friends. Towns can go to war in some versions of the plugin and destroy each other's builds.
From what I can gather, Jason forgot to remove a .txt file that lets the server know to restore damage after a war or some sort of natural damage (like creepers). He blamed it on the server but I think it's his fault since the plugin's generated files should be considered unique.

This results in a hilarious scenario where people assumedly started to re-build their towns on the same map or build new structures over their old town, only for the changes they made to reverse and destroy their progress.
Also, someone did this:
