2. Organize lobbyists and controlled opposition "consumers" that sabotage every project from inside
3. Lolsuits over IPs that they own but stopped caring about them until fans threaten the bottom line.

Anyone else find it curious that he uses the term "live service" instead of simply "online games"? It's a term that is only used sincerely by corpos, and in the gaming community it is only used as a pejorative.
"Live service" in common parlance, is not in 2011 I went to gamestop, bought a shooter for $60, played multiplayer a whole bunch, it got a few updates, I bought a map pack, maybe I even threw in $2 to make my gun golden or some other mildly scummy on-disc-dlc bullshit that
"Live service" is I downloaded a shooter, a splashscreen pops up telling me there's only 17 days left to finish the battlepass but that a super bundle that comes with 30 levels worth of XP is available, you accidentally click on it causing you to go to a cash shop, it takes you to some interface that only would've been in a mobile game 10 years ago, there is a warning saying the shop refreshes in 5 hours, but I can see that there is an ultra limited edition Dexter's Laboratory crossover skin bundle for only $57.99 where I can play as iconic characters including a cell-shaded, adult-sized Dexter even though the game has realistic graphics. I finally fuck off out of the mobile game menus and join a match and it places me in a lobby that is 80% bots because it wants me to feel good and dominate even though it's my first match. Then you play some more and realize it has less content then that game you bought in 2011 but don't worry the new season comes out in 3 months and it'll have 1 new map

Yeah, normally at this point in game-Dev, the dev would have developed a scripting tool that would allow them to simply hammer out dialogue and have the scripting tool format them into the code, his approach of just fucking raw-dogging it is insane. Yandere dev level shit.
