The Apex debacle doesn't get brought up enough, and I hadn't thought about its parallels with SKG until now. Like his "Game Dev Perspective" on SKG, Jason's built his personality on being a very intelligent and experienced hackerman yet totally fumbled on a high profile case he confidently inserted himself into. He even tried to smear the hacked guy by showing a clip of him installing some file his chat sent him despite the clip in question occurring after the hack and other signs like chat behavior pointing to a real RCE situation. It's kind of surprising he didn't seem to catch much shit for that.Remember how fast he jumped to conclusions with that Apex Legends remote code execution hack live on stage? Doesn't matter that he got everything completely wrong [...] with SKG, he ended up doing the same thing again.
Don't get me wrong, that pro gamer is probably retarded and the mentioned clip can be considered evidence as such; in fact I think Jason saw just that and thought he had an easy win by just asserting the most common and likely situation.
