Is Thor actually autistic? I don't mean like the "completely stupid" use of that term, I mean genuinely autistic. The amount of hate he's gotten could have been entirely abated if he just said "Shit, I completely misread the initiative. I fucked up. Insane behavior chat." Instead, he's not only refusing to change his mind but he's not doing the almost surefire way to get an internet hate mob away from you; leaving the internet for two weeks. I guess his pride won't let the big bad bullies chase him away?

You don't have worry as I know practically nothing about coding and the little I do is a tiny amount of C++ from "modding". I have no idea what any of Mald's code even means and the videos and comments make a lot more sense than what he writes as I can at least understand what the code is trying to do.

Jason, this is the person you want to be; you want to be like Eric Barone, a man who made an instant classic all by himself, using a C# Framework instead of an engine. Who made ALL assets and coding by himself, and that still supports and update the game, to all platforms and is also making a new game in his spare time.

But Jason... I got to break it to you, you will never be like Eric Barone, you are an incompetent narcissistic nepobaby faggot piece of shit, you are not even 0.1% of Eric Barone, a succesful indie game dev, rich and with a wife who loves him.

Not autism, but narcissism. Hell, narcissists will often give themselves a trillion labels for the sole purpose of trying to excuse their behavior, so don't just throw out "autism" like it's nothing. Do some research on narcissism, particularly with how real people deal with narcissists in their lives, not just psychologists explaining their findings. Even if it's just some YouTube channel like TheraminTrees or whatever. The rabbit hole of narcissistic personality disorder (NPD) goes really deep, you'll be fascinated. I truly think that diving into the triad of personality disorders explains a hell of a lot about the world. Like how the Christian deadly sin of Pride is 1,000,000% based on faggots with NPD over 2000 years ago.

Also, despite the sheer negativity thrown Malding's way, narcissists thrive on attention whether it's positive or negative, so rest assured that he's absolutely not changing his retarded behavior ever. A lolcow for life. He could have kept his reputation in good standing, but like a drug addict out of control, he overdosed on attention and now it's all crashing down. He'll keep injecting attention with even more hot takes, causing drama, lolcowing as hard as he can while the fire dies out, but by that point it'll take him less than a couple years to have basically nobody left but schizos and maybe other lolcows to interact with, as we've already seen with Seethetree's orbiters.

Huge props to Eric Barone for achieving this. However, I'd also like to point out something else from the Top 10 list:

Schedule 1 is the first ever project of Tyler, another solo dev and it's the 9th most positively rated game just 4 months after its release. Here's just hoping he doesn't pull a Jason and actually releases his game eventually! (though he's pretty good about it for now)

I'm happy for Eric Barone. Ever since stardew valley was released he stops by /v/ every Christmas and gives out free codes.

In response to the deluge of YouTubers doing code reviews on Pirate Software,

Game code is ugly, fast code is ugly. Is Pirate Software's code fast? It doesn't actually matter. He's doing nothing that a 1MHz processor couldn't do. His amateurish ugly ass code, while not helpful, is not the thing preventing him from making progress. It's mostly procrastination. The "quality" of his code is mostly irrelevant, and largely a subjective opinion based around industry norms which are constantly changing (see rejection of OOP).

The real critique is Jason is a posing fraud who claims to be an authority on all types of stuff while having none of the paperwork or portfolio to back it up. This has always been obvious to anyone with experience in these fields, or adjacent fields. The real suckers are Jason's simps, they got fooled by a guy who just endlessly claims shit with nothing to back it up.
