We have some exciting news to share with you all about a very huge success for Jenffer A. Jay. For those of you who don’t know Jenffer, she has been an artist for all her life and has been making films for the last 13 years on her own youtube channel. She has over 1650 videos on her Youtube channel and is no stranger to making films. However, she has always wanted to learn more about documentary filmmaking and to create a film about her many talents. She has been dreaming up this project for a long time and it is finally coming to fruition. Jenffer and Meriya, her support worker, have been working on this film project for the past two years and have been documenting her journey toward starting her own art business and the process of having her first art show.
It has been one of Jenffer’s dreams to have one of her films screened at a major Canadian film festival from the north. She is pleased to announce that her film, Beauty Through Decay has been selected to be screened for the 20th anniversary of the Available Light Film Festival starting next week from Feb, 12th-28th, 2022.
This will be the films world premiere and we hope that you will check it out!
Her film will be screened in conjunction with the feature film Rob is Analog on February, 12th, 2022. The film festival will be online this year, but look out for an in-person screening that will happen later in February.
