I have a better question - how exactly does anyone, especially a tard, manage to disappear for four months in PEI of all places and not be seen or heard from by anyone? For those unaware, PEI is the only canadian province that is entirely settled and is all things considered very small. This isn't like wandering off a trail in BC and winding up 200 miles back in the woods cause you lost your sense of direction. In PEI you can literally pick a direction, start walking and you're going to run into someone, some house or town inside of a few hours. She did not cross the bridge to new brunswick on foot, they don't allow that. Therefore either his story is a total lie and he left the province with her to take her wherever, or she is still somewhere on the island whether she is alive or dead. This really doesn't add up given his explanation. His demeanor, bizarre explanation, contradictory statements and that incredibly suspicious 'house cleaning' that is way too close to the time she disappeared for my liking, is suspicious as fuck. To say nothing of the fact that she supposedly has kids she left behind and left without any money, credit cards or a vehicle (why exactly does someone wanting to go off on an adventure that has a vehicle leave it behind and tell someone to use their vehicle to take them wherever and drop them off? It doesn't pass the common sense test even for a potato)
He knows more than he is saying he does. Nothing he has said makes any sense and he looks, acts and talks incredibly suspicious. If he had a lawyer the guy would be spazzing out telling him to shut the fuck up. Either he did something to her or he knows exactly what happened to her and isn't talking. Which he has no motive to do unless he's involved
You are if you knowingly and intentionally drop her off in a situation where common sense says this is a stupid and dangerous thing to do and a reasonable person would expect it to end badly for her, which is pretty much what he's admitted to doing publicly. At a bare minimum he'd be responsible for negligence that resulted in her death and would be prosecuted for it. Given the fact she's clearly not right in the head he'll get worse than that if she turns up dead. He stands a pretty good chance of human rights groups wanting to make an example of him, as well as womens rights groups. They'd be calling for his head. Both for putting her in that situation when common sense should have told him to refuse and because of his association with the far right and his political views. and speaking of bodies in freezers I really, really don't want this to end up being a horrifically fucked up situation where it ends up turning out that he killed her, stuffed her body in the freezer and has been feeding her to her own kids all this time to get rid of the evidence. You never know with people like him. Those poutine jokes might be closer to the truth than we want to think about
Also the fact he admits the cops are waking him up daily is very telling. He's already given his statement on the matter to them. The only reason they have to do that is if they have reason to suspect him of being involved in her disappearance more than the standard 'the spouse is the first and prime suspect' as a matter of policy kind of thing. They're deliberately fucking with him trying to spook him into saying something or doing something that'll fuck him. Its an old tactic and one the cops use pretty regularly with people when they're trying to get them to make a mistake, because they can't prove it yet. This hasn't seemed to have occurred to him at all given the way he is acting

He claims to care enough to pay attention to her movements but after a couple days just stops? and doesn't consider it odd that he stopped being able to at that point? and doesn't mention this to *anyone* at all? Doesn't sound like someone who gave a shit to me, nor does it sound like someone who would have bothered to keep track of her at all. On the other hand why would someone so apathetic to her fate after she left be bothering to keep an eye on her at all, let alone for a few days after and then suddenly stop? Which brings up a very important point - they wouldn't be doing such a thing if they believed him. The only reason they have to pull this kind of thing is if they think he has far more involvement in her disappearance than he claims he does. You'd think this would have occurred to him but then again he doesn't come off as nearly as smart as he thinks he is. The cops are going to have an absolute field day with this guy's posts. He sounds incredibly defensive and unhinged for a guy who supposedly didn't do anything to her. He definitely thinks he's smart enough to get away with it, even while talking exactly like someone who is blatantly guilty of something and too stupid to recognize that people are noticing it
The cops need to take a good long look at the bags of drywall and who knows what the fuck else he took out of the house doing this 'house cleaning.' Seems like a real convenient way of removing a body from the house without drawing suspicion
