The problem with this thread is that both Jim's detractors and supporters are too psychologically involved with him. Jim like most personalities has done a lot of things worth criticizing him over but a lot of his critics just want to criticize for the sake of criticizing him.

Make fun of him for what he deserves to be made fun of over.

How is that a lie by omission? "People are saying that Jim likes 'Redo of Healer', when what actually happened was that Jim admitted that he likes 'Redo of Healer'!"

Looking at the Wikipedia page for "Redo of Healer", the LN and manga are apparently much more explicit than the anime, so Jim saying he prefers the manga over the anime is even worse. On top of that, the pedophilia angle for "Redo of Healer" is worse in the print medium versions, since they clearly state the ages of the rape victims as being between 12-16 years old. From what I've read, the anime never explicitly tells the audience the ages of any of the rape victims, so if one were to only watch the anime, one would at least have plausible deniability that they thought all of the characters were above age. Thanks to you, we at least know that Jim can't use that excuse, since you've clarified that he's specifically a fan of the explicitly pedophilic manga version. So thanks for that "defense", I guess.
