I have a feeling Genna would have moved more and more towards woke as time went on, exactly because she was doing it to "get along". That's how a lot of people ended up falling off the edge these days, they just accepted what everybody else was saying because they didn't want to rock the boat.

I think Genna was actually pretty cleaver at negotiating that crap. I went to a few CoxCons (including being there for the infamous trap incident, everyone fucking laughed) and in smaller groups when not on film in panels etc she did come out with some pretty "problematic" humour, then toed the line at times when recording was possible.

I kinda stopped watching TB super regularly after he moved to burgerland,when he started attending stuff like Pax ect his output became sporadic and not as high quality for a while(His most consistent content for a while was him playing matches of Dota for a while IIRC) ,then the big C hit him.
Since TB wasn't a citizen it was hard for him to get health insurance and he had to pay most of his bills out of pocket. There were a few instances where TB was called out for being a sellout and he and Genna would flaunt their hospital bills to cover their asses. However, TB made nearly 3K a podcast on the cooptional podcast and had several sponsorships with his own esports team at the time. I think his medical spendings were significant but not large enough to but Genna and TB's kid in a bad spot.
No they divorced not long after Jim got his citizenship. Jim talks about it in his under 900k special saying that she wanted to leave him for another guy and he was "cool" with it.
Alright, that's fair. Looks like I had the wrong opinion of her. I mostly remembered her from the ooold amateur VA community, and a lot of these people went full woke since.
His eSports team actually lost him money even with the sponsorships, and cancer treatment is absurdly expensive here in the US even compared to other treatments (to the tune of 150k on average, and he had to go through it twice). End-of-life care, even at home, isn't cheap either. So I fully believe his treatment drained whatever savings the family might have had. Plus they had just moved into a new house when he was diagnosed and the costs of that were still bouncing around. It was just a terrible financial time overall.

Good question, I can't really pinpoint it either, it's just every time I've heard him talk about all the kinky shit he is apparently into it rings incredibly hollow; like he's just saying it because he wants to be edgy.
