Looks like we're still on track to dip under 800k before year end as I predicted, wonder if he'll do another show whining about dipping under that landmark.

Jim Sterling continues to lose thousands of subscribers consistently each month, at this rate he may very well dip under 800k before the end of the year if he continues to lose 4k a month, which is the minimum he's pretty much lost a month with the exception being one month where he only lost 3k. The big dip in June '21 was a loss of 15k.

Man, I still remember when Jim uploaded his first video on the Escapist. We were all telling him that his audio balancing was off and the song "Jesters from the Moon" from FFIX was making it hard to hear what he was saying. He steadily improved from there. I remember liking his content too.

I enjoyed "Jim" for talking about the absolute state of video game development for the time. I haven't watched him since the complete transformation of the persona and that didn't initially change my viewing habits either. He was outcast for not preaching "the message" and created a good platform to call out accurate and terrible video game publisher antics. The "thank God for me" was a humorous bit early on, but when it went to his head and started shifting away from video games, I checked out. I was still subscribed to him because I forgot until I saw the happenings pin today, so thanks for that reminder to cleanup my subscription list.
