The problem is that Jon is basically only now starting to look at politics critically, prior to now he has avoided it out of necessity, and he hasn't been able to talk about it with anyone. Now he can talk about it, but he's doing all of his talking in public, and he really should be discussing it in private until he can work out exactly what he believes based on the facts. Listening to that debate, it sounded like conversations I have heard and had at the pub, Jon doesn't seem to really be dogmatically invested in what he says, it's more like he's just trying to figure it out.
I am the last person to defend white nationalism, if I was only allowed to stick my dick in white chicks I would put a bullet in my brain. But neither of those points are arguments against white nationalism, they are arguments about why white nationalists suck. It's like if you said the problem with communism is that the people who adhere to it hate bathing and smell gross - that's true, but that doesn't affect the legitimacy of communism.
