Now he can focus on other things besides being weirdly social with Karl in a place where everybody must agree with each other, and given his thoughts in this video, he probably felt like he had to appease this loser.

I wonder if Karl realizes just yet that things are going to get really bad. How many people feel like I do that will quietly go away? Yeah sure he's gotta pay the money, but his channel is successful and you can make retarded amounts of money from sponsors if you lower your moral standards a bit. However, those sponsors with the fat bags of cash will want eyes on the product, yet Karl has been talking about staying off of social media and just making content as if this is something to sweep under the rug. I truly don't believe he realizes how many people like me just won't be watching his content anymore.

He always made good videos about speedrunning in general, and had a particular knack for taking the drama or cheating videos and making them fun with the holier than thou sarcasm so we could all laugh at the retardation of the cheaters. It won't really feel that way now though, because to do that whole bit you have to be above reproach in that area. Doesn't matter how many times he says nigger in the past as long as he isn't also a cheat. Now, he feels like one. Why? Because I watched every Billy video, and while the points made about Billy in regards to the DK record still seem valid, he always made it seem like the suit was about his claims on Billy's DK record. I know that there is proof he did issue a retraction in some video, but I swear to you that I (and others like me) would have bet the farm that this had nothing to do with the apollo legend stuff. Jobst always couched his feud with Billy as one where another cheater was butthurt that his precious fake accomplishment was being rightfully slandered, and Billy was the worst offender because he was actually suing like one of those other frivolous lawsuit happy retards we see. Even if Billy was using this as an opportunity to punish Karl for his other videos it wouldn't change the fact that Karl never wanted to do the right thing by his audience. He wanted to fight Billy using his supporters money even though he should've just taken the L when he made the untrue and defamatory claim linking Billy to Apollo's death.

That's why he feels exactly like one of the cheaters he would cover in one of his own videos, and I don't think I can watch another Jobst video without thinking about how he took everyone for a ride. Dude would need to feel extreme remorse for the way he presented this whole saga and even then it would be hard to go back. Especially since he's been going full Rekieta in his hugbox, yeah man it's just over. Luckily the internet isn't real and is always changing, so I never felt the need to give any money to some guy getting into a slap fight halfway across the planet just because I liked the entertainment he gave, but that doesn't mean the people who did give to him deserved to be taken advantage of, which is what Jobst did, full stop. Doesn't matter how many technicalities he has to fall back on. He knew he was misleading most of those people and still went through with everything.

Even if you paid close attention to this after the raids shadow legends sponsor and darksouls speedrun segment, you wouldn't really realize it was a proper retraction. He says the words he's supposed to with "Therefore the statement I made in that video was almost certainly incorrect. I sincerely apologize for providing false information", but it's cloaked in another 300 words of misdirection and framing at the end of a video. He can't even directly say what his claim was and what the correction was, but has to subtly imply that Billy didn't cause his suicide.

One thing is for sure, it doesn't look like the madness will end anytime soon.
And considering how far Dark Souls players have pushed the games in the last 5 years,
I know that whatever happens will probably blow my mind.
Now before I finish this video, I would like to take this opportunity to correct something
that I said in a previous video.
Back in May I talked about the new lawsuits filed by Todd Rogers and Billy Mitchell.
In that video, I made the claim that Apollo Legend paid money to Billy Mitchell as part
of their settlement.
I would never make such a claim unless I had very good evidence to support my position.
In response to this, Billy Mitchell released a video accusing me of lying and claimed that
no money was exchanged.
He didn't provide any evidence to back up this claim, nor did he attempt to get in contact
with me to clear up any misinformation I may have had.
However, I did investigate further as I would never want to provide false information to
my viewers.
I reached out to a member of Apollo's family who graciously agreed to clarify some details.
According to them, despite Mitchell's best efforts, Apollo Legend would not pay any
money and in the final version of the settlement, there was no clause indicating that he was
required to do so.
Therefore the statement I made in that video was almost certainly incorrect.
I sincerely apologize for providing false information, and no matter what kind of relationship
I have with Mitchell, I do not believe that it is ever justified to lie or mislead.
Mitchell also claimed that I was accusing him of murder.
This is certainly not the case.
I do have my opinion regarding the impact of the settlement on Apollo's decision,
but ultimately it was no one's responsibility but his own.
The only reason I mentioned it in that video was because I felt like it was important to
let you know what happened, as I know many of you enjoyed his videos.
