That being said I will just chime in and say that the only reason the USA women's Soccer team has won 4 World Cups is because a lot of the other countries don't even have professional teams, some teams are made up of players who don't even do it as a career.
In comparison the US Mens soccer team has only reached the Quarter Finals once in the past 90 years, they usually make it to the Round of 16 and then get knocked out. Does this mean that the mens team is worse than the women's? no, it just means that the men's side of the sport is more developed and is more competitive.
