He's not going to rehab and will probably double down on drugs. I cannot imagine him actually going silent on social media but I assume he'll be quiet for a week and then do a BACK FROM REHAB stream.

His zombie-like behavior on stream, slurring of words, and his friends being concerned of an "overdose", I'm pretty sure the addiction he's talking about is an opioid addiction, probably combined with cocaine abuse. Opioid withdrawal sucks balls (but won't outright kill you like benzo withdrawal), so he's probably looking into rehab so he can do a suboxone titration to smooth the withdrawal out a bit. I wouldn't wish withdrawal on most people, but Keffals needs the repentance.

Stimulant addictions are extremely difficult to break. It varies from person to person but generally you can grit your teeth and ride out dopesickness because it's just a week or two of pain and suffering, but trying to come off a bad meth or coke habit will completely break your sanity and push you into a nightmarish psychosis world for months, followed by an empty, joyless state of depression that lasts for years.

Nobody in an inpatient rehab is going to laugh at a coke addiction, that's just silly.

This is true and Keffals has a miserable road ahead of him. Lucas is constantly chasing a high, they are clearly manic and will stop at nothing to get a dopamine hit that isn't being provided naturally in their brain. They have destroyed their receptors to a point where, without a dramastorm or drug-induced high, they quite literally cannot feel normal joy. It will take a very long time to repair, if possible at all, and this isn't even taking into account the effect hormones and such take on altering your brain chemistry.

Addictions suck, anyone who has dealt with it at a real level gets it at a level people who haven't never will. The best thing they could do is delete their entire social media presence, get rehab/NA and get a normal ass IT job. Anything else will lead to disaster.
