There are a lot of financially careless or irresponsible people out there. That's one of the big reasons why content creators love Patreon, tbh - if you ever strike it rich, you can coast off of your zombie subscribers for years.

For example, Contrapoints is still one of the most successful people on the platform, even though he's become so lazy that he only makes roughly one video per year now.

They went from making around $1k/month last year to ~$690/month today.

I have to give credit where credit is due... Keffals worked hard to alienate his audience, and he did an excellent job of it! :lol:
This is actually a remarkably huge reduction in income over a very short period of time (by Patreon standards). There are still zombie subscribers, of course, but Keffals is basically down to where he was prior to #DropKiwiFarms.

$441/month when this thread was made. ~$2600/month at the peak of #DKF. And finally, $501/month today.

If you need another example of how long a zombie sub can go on for, look only at fellow troon John Walker Flynt/Brianna Wu, who started a Patreon when GG was kicking off, rapidly climbed to getting over $3k a month, and then promptly did absolutely nothing else with it. Despite the fact that it was last updated only a month or so after it was created, John still has 24 patrons giving him $128 a month. One or two continue to drop off every month, so it might eventually kick the bucket in a couple of years, or it might go on for another decade. It's hardly making a living, and John would be in trouble if he didn't have a rich chink paypig for a husband, but it's still free money for doing literally nothing.

So yeah, expect Lucas to keep getting money from retards who don't pay attention to their finances for a while yet.

This is why corporations adore and have been pushing so hard to move everything over to subscription models. Convincing people to spend $70 bucks on the latest AAA goyslop game is a hard sell (especially when they're all shit) but getting them to sign up for a 30-day free trial with recurring billing after your trial period has ended is extremely effective.

I've got subscriptions that I haven't used in years but because they're only five bucks a month it's not worth the hassle to cancel when, if I watch one or two series, it's still cheaper than buying a boxset.

i bet most of that is zombie income, people who dont notice 2 or so dollars leaving their account, for instance spoony despite not making any content in a decade is still getting around $200 a month,
you may also notice that libtards get an exorbitant amount of money from their fans, Me personally i think this is because communists view this as some sort of praxis, like giving hbommber guy 10 dollars a month helps the movement.
i have seen people online talk about having a patreon budget. so giving some broke nigger like keffals money is really helping them out, much like giving money to a homeless person
