Does anybody know if there are any mods floating around for better Human portraits and names? I get tired of having to rename my leaders to a normal name and even then their portrait is still some ungodly creation.

I'd argue it could be pushed into heavy due to their response to workshop mods changing human portraits. See, there's multiple mods allowing for the original portraits to be changed to whatever race you prefer by downloading the pack for that race. The thing is, the only one that isn't present is the European Portrait Pack. The reason? The tranny jannies marked it as malware to remove that version from public viewing while keeping every other non-white version viewable. Thankfully, you can still access and download it from Based Mods.

I think that's more of an issue with Megacorps being piles of shit in terms of gameplay that don't really account for their own mechanics. I wouldn't really put much stock into the political aspect of that either. That option and related options are pretty much restricted to Egalitarian empires, which rely on having plenty of resources to go around to balance the happiness and productivity bonuses. You pretty much always have full control over the wealth distribution of all the species in your empire, so you can just as easily make stratified economies where only your main species is wealthy and all others just exist in equal poverty (even as Egalitarians). I can also go into incredible detail regarding the species system and how bad having more species is for an empire, but I'll just say that diversity is the furthest thing from a strength in every imaginable situation, unless they're slaves with no rights or upkeep, or you genetically modified your own population manually.

Also worth noting is that that being well-liked, generous, and cooperative is typically much weaker than any developed empire that's remotely xenophobic, militaristic, or naturally genocidal. Megacorps are double fucked in that regard, considering they have either have to not act like a Megacorp to try to ignore diplomatic downsides at the cost of being locked out of their actual benefits, or try to deal with diplomacy with their compounding issues regarding upkeep and army size. They're a fucking mess.

Cuphead: Don't Deal With the Devil and Cuphead in The Delicious Last Course are None. Self-explanatory.


In The Cuphead Show!, characters such as King Dice and The Devil are flamboyant and sometimes a bit feminine, but that's it. Nothing like Ridley Jones in which a bison calf comes out as non-binary. Again, it is None and no different from those times Bugs Bunny dressed up as a woman to fool others.

An indie game that was a mario kart clone based on Bloodbourne. After winning a real game award, the dev flipped out and supposedly added a trans flag to the boot screen.

Supposedly? It might change in the future, but the post in question is most likely a joke or a "fuck off chuds" moment considering there isn't actually a 1.12.3 update yet.

Always check the developer's and game's discord server if offered. The act of having one doesn't say much because it's not unlikely to think some marketing construct would think it would mean more publicity or that it's hip with the kids.

Check the logo, you don't even need to join or own an account. Look for the funny colors to know if that developer or publisher deserves your money. The discord server logo is always the first to recieve the funny colors.

Absence of the funny colors or a server outright does not indicate much, but presense sure does.

Stellaris deserves the most uncharitable interpretations because Paradox is behind it. They buy out and fuck up so many good games.

Just saw an advertisement for this indie game in development, I Am A Caterpillar.

It’s supposed to be a “cozy” exploration game where you climb and glide around the forest in your quest to prevent yourself from growing into a butterfly. It became very apparent to me that this is most likely an allegory for trans kids and trying to prevent puberty. Mainly from one of the bugs in the trailer being like “Well metamorphosis and change is just apart of nature, you have to accept it!” If this really is the case, I’m gonna say it’ll lean into heavy once it comes out.

Huge focus on self identification ("I'll tell you what I am" sentiment) and running away from natural transformation. It's an allegory for puberty being avoidable.
