I have and it's pretty good. It's better than the one short-lived series that aired almost a year ago in which he was only the sole producer just for promotional materialAnyone seen Judge's latest series? I'm a bit curious.
The only immediate thought that comes to mind is probably his 'slip on pee pee' lawsuits making him seem like a bit of a slip and fall scammer in the eyes of some people. Though in the episode where he tried to sue Hank he ultimately tried to do the right thing in the end.Why did people hate Lucky? I have never understood the hatedom for him.
He's also a very stereotypical redneck character. The show often has Khan calling his neighbors hillbillies, but it wasn't true until Lucky showed up. Now, yes, Khan did invite Lucky and his friends in a fugue state caused by affirmative action, but that was extreme circumstances. Peggy was totally right to be worried about Lucky marrying Luanne due to Lucky's arcane code of honor that is completely arbitrary. Why did people hate Lucky? I have never understood the hatedom for him.
It probably means neo-King of the Hill will be like the Futurama revival, complete with fumbling attempts at making new memorable episodes that attempt to be the new Luck of the Fryish or Jurassic Bark episodes, which was even worse than the tries at tackling Current Year political issues like the vax.New writers are a given, the original cast of writers has to be in their 50's and 60's by now and it wouldn't be realistic to expect them all to come back. But what the hell does she mean by "sweet spots of the classic?" The first 6 seasons of King of the Hill are close to perfection.
His "code of honor" is kind of shit. I actually like the character as well, but irl he would be a really shitty person for a lot of reasons. Why did people hate Lucky? I have never understood the hatedom for him.
He's kind of a Poochie character, but he stuck around. Why did people hate Lucky? I have never understood the hatedom for him.
I wouldn't say that just yet honestly. I mean yes, the new KoTH is still something I'm cautious about (especially given the death of Johnny Hardwick and that he's rarely going to be in the reboot), but I would not go as far as it will be on the same level at least until the show dropsIt probably means neo-King of the Hill will be like the Futurama revival, complete with fumbling attempts at making new memorable episodes that attempt to be the new Luck of the Fryish or Jurassic Bark episodes, which was even worse than the tries at tackling Current Year political issues like the vax.
A lot of people on Tiktok need to watch that Thanksgiving episode. Its message is more relevant today than ever before. Most cartoon reviewers are cringe AF, but I actually think this guy is pretty based.

Lucky is to King of the Hill the same way Rogu is to American Dad. Despite being hated upon, they still stick around for a few episodes of the later seasons in hopes to have ratings rebound. It's like what happened with Scrappy-Doo or Jar Jar Binks, they may have almost ruined the franchise, but are decisions made by creators and writers to rebound their successWhy did people hate Lucky? I have never understood the hatedom for him.
Twist ending: the writers have hank end up having a psychotic breakdown after cottons death and dealing with it by trying to become more like him, leading to him and the guys to restart their bluegrass band with this as their first public performance:It probably means neo-King of the Hill will be like the Futurama revival, complete with fumbling attempts at making new memorable episodes that attempt to be the new Luck of the Fryish or Jurassic Bark episodes, which was even worse than the tries at tackling Current Year political issues like the vax.
Peggy is there as well at the bar.Anyone spotted a KoTH reference in American Dad?

I mean, there's a LOT of evidence that he is a slip and fall scammer. The only immediate thought that comes to mind is probably his 'slip on pee pee' lawsuits making him seem like a bit of a slip and fall scammer in the eyes of some people. Yeah, but he's still a salt of the earth kinda fella.I mean, there's a LOT of evidence that he is a slip and fall scammer.
The time he threatened a lawsuit against a corn chip company after he jumped their fence and hurt himself, saying the fence was an "attractive nuisance" and will be "exhibit A" and going on to say that his "current quote" is 53k. It shows that he's fairly familiar with suing people and legal jargon from his past lawsuits.
When he tells Dale he's going to have to sue him he says "I've been through this a couple times before" and tells the paramedics how much morphine will "dull the pain without affecting the admissibility of my testimony." And the lawyer pays Lucky his "usual settlement quote" when he fakes his injury in his office. That would be a really weird line if he'd only ever done this once.
It's pretty clear he absolutely is a scammer and has done this more than once.
