I love the Weightlifting thread but sometimes I want to talk about women's fitness and lifting oriented things with out shitting up the thread. So, hopefully I can find some like-minded kiwisisters.

What's your work out right now?

What are your goals?

Share your PBs with out feeling like a failure because dudes throw up 100kg on bench no sweat and you're out here struggling on 30kg.

Any random topic related to fitness as a woman is fine.

Shocking that the 2023 user is a drooling retard.

Work out today was a back and legs split, I am going for high reps at the moment with lighter weights. Backwards weighted lunges wrecked me.

Women don't go to the gym to work out. They only go there to show their butts off in tight clothing, then get annoyed when men stare and ogle at them.
This is scientific fact.
I hate these whores, I could appreciate the fact they are making an effort if they actually did anything besides standing in front of the mirror and taking photos of their ass and abusing angles and the nice gym lighting.

There is thankfully only one or two of them at my gym and I mostly get to avoid them since I train at 5am.

I’ve mostly been doing yoga lately. I started during covid since the gym I usually went to briefly (two weeks) closed down, but found I actually liked it more than I’d expected. I did a few classes at the women’s gym, to make sure I was following the online guides properly, but I just do it at home now.

I also want to get a dog so I’ll have an excuse to take long walks in the countryside, but that’s a lot of responsibility I’m not sure I’m ready for. Pretty pathetic at my age, I know.

Eww, don't want to get all heavy and muscular.
Nigga, that sounds a whole lot like an excuse to not GET THEM GAINS!

Ugh same, I would love some motivation to get my ass to some of the nice parks in my area in the mornings but apartment life is not nice for the kind of dogs I would like to own, plus my spoiled cat would lose his shit and maybe pass away from jealousy.

I'd love a working dog to run with but....a pipe dream currently.

I love Patty. She gets such insane pumps, sometimes I watch her videos and think, oh she looks normal, 3 minutes later she's putting any guy I've ever seen at my gym to shame with her tone and mass. I am mad jealous of how she seems to be one of god's chosen and just has perfect genes for gaining muscle while also retaining an incredibly womanly figure. (:_(

I love the gym, you guys.
I love lifting the heavy things and putting them back down. I love feeling the good tired.
Whenever I miss too many days I start feeling shitty again and it's surprising how much of a difference you can feel.

It's more grip strength, and forearm strength. Grab dumbbells the wrong way and hold them until failure, or as long as you can before wanting to drop them.
Going to start doing this during long work Teams calls. Cheers. :)

I love cardio and can do long-distance running, swimming, horse riding, etc all day long but weights have always just defeated me and sadly it seems that weight training is pretty important. Any recommendations for weight training for women who struggle to lift their own arms?

Between the two of us we can be a single functional human.

What's your goal? I assume it's not to become a tiktok thot, so you would probably be fine even with bodyweight exercises and calisthenics if you wanted.
