What have I learned? Well, the appellate court only hears cases one or two days per month. It's Laur's cockroach luck that the May dates are coming up this week: the 20th and the 21st. Laur is not currently on the docket (I did check both pages.)


But there's a possibility that her two hundred and thirteen packets of court documents have been printed out and brought to the appeals court in person so she can make a judge or judicial panel review her emergency motion to put her on the docket this week. We all know there's no way this appeal will be approved - but Laur is banking on it. She's got all her little grifter eggs in this basket. The fireworks when it fails should be amazing.

The NY state appellate court will hear this month's cases tomorrow and Thursday. Laur filed an emergency petition to get on the docket last week, but it appears she failed as expected because she's not on the calendar and she's not a party to any appeals case in the state.

Laur is pretending that the eviction warrant doesn't exist, repeats her accusation that the landlord stole public funds that she took out as a loan in Earl's name, and pretends that the payment she did make was for rent from July 2025 through March 2026, instead of back rent.

Laur redacted the loan statement so no one can see they've made zero payments on it, and she also redacted the payment memos to the landlord which showed she was making payment on rental arrears - not payment for future rent. Falsifying evidence already submitted in the lower courts is surely a crime.




ETA: Laur got her old attorney to claim that the loan money was for rent from April 2025 through December 2025, and not rental arrears owed from September 2023 onwards. Lawyer Aiken was incredibly dumb.
