luminati charges $300 a month. 382 Cad. This poses a few questions
1.) Is Lee really paying 382 a month to bitch on 4chan? I doubt it. Im prone to believe hes using something cheaper.
2.) If he is infact paying monthly, which i have a hard time believing, is he leeching of his parents? Where is he getting the money.
That's only if you pay by the month. It's $25/GB for residential, so if he limits it to 4chan, blocks ads and video, and just shitposts text and small images, he could probably keep the cost down pretty easily. Or just use it for posting, while doing his pony hunting from his normal IP.
It also might explain why he's not following some of the boards he used to frequent.
He probably also has something like the ponyfags who kept posting pony threads on /b/ even after /mlp/ was created, a script that collated all kinds of proxy lists and then tested whether they could post on 4chan, and they'd move over to another IP any time they got banned. They kept that up for years.
I wouldn't be surprised if he actually had that exact script.
So I'd think he'd probably be spending something like $25 a month or maybe $50, maybe even less, and also using free proxies when he can scrounge them up.
One of my theories is the mods put up with his bullshit because he is so good at finding proxies they don't have to. Just wait for a Barneyfag thread and ban whatever he posts from.
Something like luminati would be for when no proxies are to be found that aren't already banned.
