If it is someone impersonating him, it would have to be someone from Canada, as the vast majority (but not all) Leeposts on flag-enabled boards are from Canada, and I highly doubt someone is going to jump from VPN to VPN just to evade bans while trying to be Lee. I do think there are impersonators out there, given that the filenames and responses to a given cheese image are not always the same. Most likely, Lee (or whoever from Canada is still carrying on his legacy) is still using RSS feeds combined with some kind of tool that takes the hash and/or image dimensions of images he has identified and flagged as cheese in the past, which will then throw up a Barney Alert and automatically point him to the offending post whenever these images are reuploaded.

Just looking up that Pepe picture across a couple archive sites, I found that he was usually able to find this exact picture, even after it was posted with another image hash. Here's the first hash I was able to find, and here's the second hash. Notice that for the first hash, he only found it on /int/ the second time it appeared, then kept bumping the thread with "kys" and had to switch IPs several times to evade bans (the number at the top right is the number of unique IPs in the thread):

There was a variance in his posting style when the second hash showed up on some other boards. On /co/, he posted a second link to derpicdn.net, then followed up with his usual dump of barney images and threats every minute:

Then, not even a day later on /r9k/, he finds and call out the OP without posting the derpicdn.net this time, then follows it with some stream of words that I can only assume are lyrics to some obscure song:

In summation, I really hope that Leeposts are not all just one person and that the difference in posting styles across boards is indicative of there being multiple impostor Lees. I still hope Lee is still out there living a successful life while continuing his autistic crusade against the foul Barniggers on the side. Maybe one day, he will make another account here and let us know if he's doing alright. I know there are plenty of people out there impressed with his legacy and would like to know if he's still alright, relatively speaking.

Threads and cheese get missed all the time, Lee usually only adds an image to his "to be baited by" list after it has been posted by a leebaiter in a thread that had easily recognizable cheese in the OP.
