So let's think about this for a moment.

Blonde doesn't die by the oni (at least what we know of in 6.23) he kills himself, how does he turn into a oni? Did the oni teleport in there after we left, take a chomp out of his ass cheek and he turned into a oni in seconds? Was he already dead, and just hang himself as a joke? Did the oni set up the rope and chair, and because of that it counts as the oni killing him?
I can't be the only one with these questions right? These questions they bother me.
What happens if the oni fully eats a person? Does he vomit the corpse back up and then they turn? Does he shit them out, and his shit turns back into the person, and then into a oni? Does the oni shit? Or is he just shitting out the pieces of the remains he ate in the order he ate them? If he doesn't shit, and doesn't vomit out the reminds, does he become Pregnant with a new oni of the person he ate whole? And on the whole regenerating thing, does only body parts outside the oni regenerate? Or will each part of a person he tears off become it's own living copy of that person, and then into oni(s)? Does he become pregnant with all those new copies of the person he ate?

The Oni seems to have the exact problem as most zombie media, the zombies never fully devour a person, so they can turn into a zombie, the Oni is probably similar, I always hated when in the Walking Dead a character will get attacked by a bunch of zombies and they all start chewing on him only for the victim to reappear as a zombie and with minimal noticeable injuries when he should be partially eaten or just not turn into a zombie since 10+ zombies should devour most if not all of the corpse.

I agree on this whole "the oni just munched you nad whatever is left regens into a full oni" being stupid. I always saw it more as a "the thing" kind of deal where the oni could transform into whoever it ate, and that Takeshi didn't commit aliven't and it was the oni pulling a sick prank.
