I don't know if is just me but Linus began to sound way more zoomer, gay and soy than usual in his latest videos. In some of his videos he looks more childish than his kids

I really hope that their z-wave home began to re-calculate everything in the middle of a busy night. Because his z-wave is ad-hoc and he has more switches in his mansion than I have of electronic things, it would take a few hours and everything would be slow because of itI avoid all things wireless as much as possible for this exact reason. Wired is better and always will be.
His response on Twitter:I call bullshit on the "light switches causing 5ghz interference" thing - it really goes to show his utter incompetence and/or is just an opportunity for him to create another "smart" home series sponsored by Inovelli, the smart home product manufacturer he gives a random shot-out to in both of the recent smart home videos.
Lord knows he burned his bridge with Jasco, the manufacturer of his current switches, by yelling at some old bitty in customer service and making a video shitting on them for what was ultimately just him doing Z-wave wrong in Home Assistant.
He's using Z-wave devices for all of his switches, which operate at a frequency ludicrously far removed from 5ghz.

He even admitted disabling the switches didn't change shit in a pinned comment - though of course left the video unaltered with his "incredible" interference discovery. View attachment 4015335
Its clearly they stupid whole house audio system than rich people seem to love. zwave is 900 mhz and someone said somewhere (so you know its true) that it interferes with 5ghz. He thinks the speakers being 5ghz makes them sound better, I bet they'd sound the same on 2.4.I call bullshit on the "light switches causing 5ghz interference" thing - it really goes to show his utter incompetence and/or is just an opportunity for him to create another "smart" home series sponsored by Inovelli, the smart home product manufacturer he gives a random shot-out to in both of the recent smart home videos.

Maybe 8bit guy's autism of making everything connected to Ethernet was right all along. If he actually fixes it all then he can't rake in money by making videos about how it doesn't work.

That won't happen with the home automation stuff, because he was at least smart enough to pick a system that doesn't just expose every device in your home to the internet and send all your data to china.all his IoT devices get hacked

Don't tell me you seriously consider wired mice superior. There is no tangible difference in response time, and the convenience of wireless mice is infinitely higher. I can't imagine still having a cable pulling pulling my hand and getting stuck and twisted. If all wireless accessories get on that level, the wired versions will become mostly obsolete for consumer use, as they should be.Wired is better and always will be.
There are exceptions obviously.Don't tell me you seriously consider wired mice superior. There is no tangible difference in response time, and the convenience of wireless mice is infinitely higher. While i can concede that wireless mice are superior, how the fuck are you getting your mouse cable twisted without constantly rotating your mouse?Don't tell me you seriously consider wired mice superior. There is no tangible difference in response time, and the convenience of wireless mice is infinitely higher. I can't imagine still having a cable pulling pulling my hand and getting stuck and twisted. I don't have to replace batteries / charge anything, my mouse always works and there's no easily lost dongles or bluetooth fucking around to deal with.Don't tell me you seriously consider wired mice superior.
Yeah, same here. I have a wireless mouse and my mousepad is a wireless charger. No need for a dongle because it connects to the mouse pad which is plugged in via USB. There are literally no drawbacks to my setup and not having cord drag from a wired mouse is a huge improvement that is worth the extra cost.I don't have to replace batteries / charge anything, my mouse always works and there's no easily lost dongles or bluetooth fucking around to deal with.
I wonder how much extra you paid to have "no drawbacks". You guys must be unbelievably autistic or doing something strange to get this bent out of shape over cord drag.Yeah, same here. I have a wireless mouse and my mousepad is a wireless charger.
If you aren't on your PC 24/7, you can definitely find an hour to charge all your gear.I don't have to replace batteries / charge anything, my mouse always works and there's no easily lost dongles or bluetooth fucking around to deal with.
$160 for the mouse and $100 for the mouse pad. It's the best mouse ever made (imo) and they had to pay for a bunch of R&D for the materials to make a mouse this light, so it's understandable. Plus I paid the early adopter fee. The same mouse is $110 now. Logitech G Pro X Superlight. Worth every penny even at the price I paid.I wonder how much extra you paid to have "no drawbacks". You guys must be unbelievably autistic or doing something strange to get this bent out of shape over cord drag.
I am doubting the "many regular listeners" quote more than the fact that it was the hosts that decided to kill it rather than Linus in efforts to cut costs. It's dead because it had no listeners/watchers compared to any other LMG channel, just take a look at their viewership https://www.youtube.com/@TheyreJustMovies/videos. Additionally if you look at their socialblade, they very rarely crack even 5K views per day and they havent even gotten 100K views in the past month, even Mac Address which i still consider to be a fairly niche LMG channel is doing 100K+ views per day.I wonder how much extra you paid to have "no drawbacks". You guys must be unbelievably autistic or doing something strange to get this bent out of shape over cord drag.
Anyway LMG has killed off their "They're Just Movies" show. Linus claims this isn't some cost cutting exercise and it was the team's decision to discontinue the show at the end of this year. Pressing X to doubt.

You paid 260 dollars for something that normal people will pay 10-20 dollars for. At least keyboard autism I can understand, that is retarded. Lift some weights nigga$160 for the mouse and $100 for the mouse pad.
