Regarding GN's "be happy with what you've got" moment wrt the unavailability of modern GPUs, JayzTwoCents also said pretty-much the exact same thing in one or two of his videos. I thought it was a fairly slimy and head-spinning take considering these guys, rightly or wrongly, never have a problem getting their hands on the latest from nVidia and AMD and are constantly showcasing that fact by posting performance numbers and the like.

If I was into YouTuber conspiracy theories, I'd suspect that they all came-up with this take amongst themselves in private, then publicized it to their viewers to shift focus away from their under-the-table cryptomining activities.

Regarding LTT, when Linus wants to descend from his Canadian Mt. Olympus to play with us plebs, I'll watch those videos, as some of them are genuinely informative. When he's beaming with delight about a gazillion dollar piece of hardware that he just charged on the company credit card, that's when I change the channel.

Who would buy this? There's nothing that would make a screw driver worth 70$ under current market conditions, and no amount of gimmick crap is going to make it worth it. If you really wanted to sell this for 70$ just make it a reward bonus for donating to your organization so that at least people feel like it's a free bonus for saying thank you instead of some overpriced piece of junk.

You can actually pay that much for a Snap-on ratchet driver. At least those might hold up to some abuse. Or, you could just get some decent real screwdrivers and some cheap chinky kit for torx/security/whatever other stupid wank.

The funniest thing for me about that piece of shit Linus is going to try to sell is that whole pull-out tray thing for the driver bits. That shit doesn't work in practice under any circumstances, even if it's a pull-out tray by itself not even connected to a screwdriver. Either it will start getting rough and broken and it will only come out with extreme force, or even worse, it'll start getting loose and then all your bits will fall out the back of your screwdriver.

But after some time
1. they seemed to be running out of ideas- I mean is it really that interesting that they took an all-RBG computer gear, and painted it matte black as a "project"?
2. their vids seemed to become more and more rushed
3. Linus seems to become more insufferable than funny
also watching him interact with his employees I am getting the vibe that he is the kind of boss that will chew you out for being 5 minutes late to the office (even if in a faux-joking way) while knowing perfectly well that you've been working till 2am on a project that was late due to someone elses fault.

Also there's definietly something wrong with Anthony (other than being a fat fuck), there were eps when they were doing some projects in homes on LTT employees, and everyone, even the chink weirdo who barely speaks english, seemed to live like normal human beans, while he seemed to live in some basement filled with plush toys. The only good videos now are the intel upgrades because it's just interesting to see what people do, since WAN Show turned into Linus thinking he's so smart with his reddit fedora about crime and Elon Musk and his business is ethical despite everything coming from Chyna. The house upgrade videos are just coming across as pathetic and clear attempts to try and milk ad revenue, it's not even good content from a DIY standpoint. I never had a problem with Taran before, he was eccentric but never crossed the annoying autistic line, although I found it funny that the best editor lost to iJustine in an editing contest a few years ago. I didn't start watching the channel until 2019 so I don't really know what existed before then. But watching his intel upgrade from a few weeks ago he seems to have serious autism or something not clicking with him where it felt less like he's a step away from Howard Hughes pee in a jar, but he doesn't have the money or power to be so ridiculous.

Channel Super Fun should also be mentioned for being brought back with super soy levels of faggotry with this new employee (not Dennis), so much shit from LTT feels like Linus desperate to be seen as cool with Zoomers.
