So don't be a retarded baby and blame the shit software you use, not the format.

Hes fucking brazen with how openly pro corporate he is now
Outside of the mentioned react channel being made, with ridiculous attempts to justify it, it was also mentioned this year is what he calls a "reinvestment year" compared to a year of "significant growth." 8 out of the past 10 years were growth years, the other two (this year included) is a reinvestment year. He also said they're forecasting less profit this year.
The WAN show now has a full-time hire who will handle the production of the show, but she is on probation and can't be named or brought on. They introduce the Wheel of Pain which is some forced thing to play devil's advocate for a topic. This is later mentioned in a superchat at 3:02:30 where someone goes and this is paraphrased "this show is bare bones and that is the appeal of it compared to the gay stuff you usually do for clicks, why do you need to start adding a full time producer who has now added forced wackiness?" This seems to make the two kind of spin their wheels because they can't justify it without making it seem like a worthless hire.
There was some faggot who wanted advice for taking a 4 month old to LTX and everyone says no that's stupid, don't be a faggot. Imagine being such a consoomer you'd bring a newborn to a convention and be a disruptive faggot for everyone and your wife.
At the very end they mention they have a company gym room but there's no equipment in it, Linus mentions liability as a reason against stocking equipment but that's the biggest cope I've heard and someone who just doesn't want to spend money on his employees actual health. Do what hotels and other companies do, add a camera, post no liability flyers, you're covered, unless Canada is even more gay than places like California.
You might be able to save a lot of space if you save all those WEBPs as as WEBPs again. Then save them as AVIF, for future compatibility.I saved a retarded amount of storage space by converting a few hundred thousand images to webp.
Didn't he sperg out and turn wireless temperature probes wired for power because he didn't want to replace the batteries every 2 years something to the tune of "filling your home with stationary objects that require regular battery replacements" is stupid.Looks like he finally tracked down his wifi problems. His wireless sony speakers. Why he can't just wire in speakers he will never move is beyond my feeble mind.
I think its to do with his pointless whole house audio system, something a lot of people with more money than sense seem to have. I don't understand people and their whole home $150,000 sonos crap.I'm thinking of the same thing here, why use wireless STATIONARY speakers that you're never going to move which you already have wired into an outlet? Just use a damn cable.
Especially when most of the money goes into gimmicky stuff like le quirky wifi sony speakers. Most actual audiophiles I've seen invest in good speakers and amps with shielded cables and not this garbage.I don't understand people and their whole home $150,000 sonos crap.
If I had Linus-tier shekels to burn, I'd be doing this rather than buying consoomer-grade garbage like Sony or Sonos.Especially when most of the money goes into gimmicky stuff like le quirky wifi sony speakers. Most actual audiophiles I've seen invest in good speakers and amps with shielded cables and not this garbage.
Especially when you can do it for a fraction of the price with a few raspberry pis, with hifiberry DACs, and a snapcast server. Or any number of other options that use similar hardware and free software to coordinate it.I think its to do with his pointless whole house audio system, something a lot of people with more money than sense seem to have. I don't understand people and their whole home $150,000 sonos crap.
What confuses me about the speakers is, why they have to be wireless if they're going to plug into a wall for power anyway? Surely there are PoE speakers to be had? That way you'd get power and network connection over the same cable, and it's a well supported standard with cool enterprise hardware he could make videos about. Even I would be a bit jelly of having a whole switch devoted to some pointless IP-speaker subnet.Didn't he sperg out and turn wireless temperature probes wired for power because he didn't want to replace the batteries every 2 years something to the tune of "filling your home with stationary objects that require regular battery replacements" is stupid.

They're meant for people living in rented houses/apartments, who can plug something in but can't cut holes in the wall and run audio/network cable. What confuses me about the speakers is, why they have to be wireless if they're going to plug into a wall for power anyway? I'd never install silly speakers in every room of my house to begin with, but if I did do it, I certainly wouldn't want ones that need to constantly ping each other over the already overused 2.4GHz band.
The funny thing is, he had the entire house refitted to fit every smart device he has shown off, they pulled out walls to lay cables. He really does not have that excuse of not being able to touch the walls because of renting the place. You may say, easy mistake to make, give him a break. But then you see him bitch on the phone like a prima donna to the painters, when they show up with a slightly different color not matched to his exact specs. The stuff he puts out sometimes let you take a peak at the control freak he is. So this boo boo is on his head. They're meant for people living in rented houses/apartments
Nope just Canadian but I see how you could mistake the two, they are very similar. He's gay right? Earings, squeaky voice, beard, chink wife. I really don't see how he couldn't be.
For a surround system, I agree that wireless can make sense even though it's a permanent install. My home theatre setup uses cables for the satellites because the speakers are mounted on the walls and the cables were easily squished behind the batten, but if you're doing surround sound in a living room or such, it may be easier to hide power cables than speaker cables. I don't know what Linus' home theatre setup is because I found the house videos such an insufferable example of a new money boss ordering his employees to do things that 100% are not in their job descriptions because "they're just proles, they do what I tell them or they get fired" that I only watched a few of them, but I don't doubt he spent more than he needed to on his home theatre setup as well. Mine is just a 5.1 sound bar with satellites for the rear channels and an 85" QLED connected to a thin client (which can remote into my home server or my PC to play media or games) but I'm sure Linus did something super complicated with fiber HDMI and KVMs from his basement datacentre to a projector "for the cinema experience" and "minimum latency gaming" or whatever.Wireless rear speakers are a lot better than running a cable across the floor.
