Why the fuck does the fat, lazy degenerate tranny couple keep all of their medication and makeup and shit under the TV? What value is it there? Are you putting on lotion and applying makeup while you're standing in the middle of your living room?
because they are WOMEN dont you see? every one knows that women are messy and leave shit around he he he. in reality i had to told a bitch to chill out because she was giving me shit because i had some ps3 controllers laying around in my living room

Half assed lazy content seems to be the order now. After getting their dirty laundry aired. Something about their content is like fake smiles to cover the embarrassment after being shouted at by a teacher. You can tell Linus wanted to retaliate on GN, this year. But they are not even trying now. He has even scaled back his ranting about consumer rights on WAN show. Because of all the L takes he has on it. Luke looks really fucking bored now, and only seems to be there for the paycheck.
They have a whole staff of writers and they can't come up with some idea to use a computer in a crazy way like they used too? Hell, there whole room water cooling video's were great content back in the day. People loved it. Yea it did not work, but people loved the ups and downs of the journey.
Instead it is just boring Shill- i mean reviewing some shit laptop, that is not better than all the other shit laptops. It is like they set out to do new things, but the new things are even more boring old things that other channels do better.
Steve here is breaking news on intel being scumbags. Linus is here reviewing a laptop. He does not deserve the youtube subs.
Fuck sake, they have not even built a computer on the channel for years now. Steve buck broke them in to a nontent factory.

Luke looks really fucking bored now, and only seems to be there for the paycheck.
Yep, just keeping the boss complacent with the appearances so he can be left in peace to do the floatplane shit, which he at least seems to enjoy. If I were Luke, I'd be prepping some floatplane plans. The financials are pretty foggy so its hard to say which way it leans, but if it is profitable, I'd be pooling some of my own funds together to be ready to make an offer to buy out the rest of Linus/LMG's stake in the company in the event that LTT tanks. If its not making a profit, I'd be watching for signs of a final upswing in LTT's fortunes, to offer to 'retire' and sell off the stake in floatplane while Linus/LMG can still afford to buy it at a reasonable price.

Either way, I'd be looking at exit strategies and making sure I have what I need to act on them when the opportunity arises.

If they wanted advice on how to upswing and get themselves out of this nontent rut, they would be pulling off some crazy video idea's. Instead we got this boring badminton project, that no fucker is going to be using. Because you can be sure as shit, Linus would not let the "riff raff" in. After it is done. Ticket prices on that place is going to weed out the local community. It is a country club by another name. His idea for a LAN party space is also going to be rare. They will have 1 big LTX opening event and fold that part up.

Nontent "challenges" like this recent video. Half the things he will do "daily driving" are fucking web apps. Zoom, youtube, forums. Even office tasks, they all use google docs. So all he is really bench testing is how long the battery lasts, compared to all the other laptops that are designed to be light weight. It is a meme to autsticly rate the keyboard on how it "feels". Key cap/switch autism is just a spook. Nobody breaks their fucking fingers on a membrain keyboard. Like switch autstics claim. The rest of the criticism, will be just how it looks. Laptop reviews are so silly, as most of them are the same. Anything he says as a good point is just as valid on the other laptops competing in the same space. Same with the bad points. It has been a race to the bottom with Laptops now. How much Wh can you fit in a thin mac book design.

I will actually fight you on this, keyboard feel and resistance is actually a big deal to anyone who's using a keyboard day in day out - BUT its completely fucking subjective. Its like mattress firmness or whether you like your clothes close fitting or lose, its entirely personal preference and learned adaption. Beyond mentioning what kind of key it is, it really can't be rated. Lots of folks I know who type just as much as I do prefer membrane over mechanicals, and there's a bunch of different preference in the types of mechanical.

Its like rating a laptop on how what color it is, rather than color variety. Keyboard autism in reviews should start and stop on "do they offer different models with different keys" and otherwise who cares.

If they wanted advice on how to upswing and get themselves out of this nontent rut, they would be pulling off some crazy video idea's.
I'm of the opinion that LTT itself is unsalvageable now. Its not that it'll crater or anything, just that its probably hit its peak and its never going to get there again. They're the IBM of the computer review space - Old, well known, and capable of leveraging their old business connections to do cool shit, but nobody actually cares for 90% of what they do anymore, its just showpieces and more of the same. Meanwhile their up and coming competitors aren't just up and coming, they're at the top now. Tech is no longer the interesting normie casual content it used to be, and among the enthusiasts, Gamers Nexus is eating their lunch, and among the true nerds, there's even better and now well established options. Even vintage chads have LGR and all the old hardware he gets ahold of and looks at in ways LTT never will. Its neither a business worth buying, nor a business worth investing in. It can keep going for a while and provide some returns, but that money is best used elsewhere.

A keyboard is a keyboard. Switch autism has all the science as placebo.
>Bro i can totally feel the "click", it is totally better than this other brands "click".
What bro does not get is that both switches are made by the same 13 year old Chinese boy in the same factory, who is dodging getting mangled in the plastic shot machine. The difference is totally in your head with marketing buzzwords.

That's an optimistic read. IBM actually produces things and generates revenue. LTT is an entertainment channel. There are no contracts or competitive edges to keep them in business. They are very much under threat of going bankrupt if they fuck up too hard.

Then maybe we're not talking about the same things, because a cherry blue beside logitechs $5 membrane absolutely feels different, in the direct force required to actually operate the key. If we're just talking about membrane vs membrane then yea its probably just retards being autistic.

Both are very much stuck doing business in "the old ways" that have mostly moved past them, with the occasional moonshot (Quantum/Labs) to try and get back atop the times, but ultimately just slipping farther and farther out of relevance while producing the same things for others that haven't moved on yet - but they will, and when they do, these stale companies don't move with them. The parallels are there.

Is that quantifiable? Because from all the years i have seen, it is marking buzzword level science. Someone who can type 50 words per 10 seconds could do that on any sort of keyboard if you challenged them. It is like asking a basketball player what his favorite brand of antiperspirant is. He will only tell you the one he has been paid to say. None of them have much difference other than marketing buzzwords.
The parallels are there.
Rate me optimistic, but i don't wish for the death of his company. I want them to produce better video's like they used too. But instead they are frozen by lazyness/apathy after Steve put them on blast. Because they are trying to come up with none offensive content. In an era where everything is offensive to everyone. They are still in turtle shell defense mode. His community note said as much the other day.

If you want quantifiable, it'd be in the physical force required to actuate the key, and the distance of travel that force is applied over before the key actuates. So yes, quantifiable in measurable and repeatable numbers. But there is not *better* or *best* for those numbers to be, just personal preference. Myself, lighter keyboards constantly fuck me up because you can just rest your fingers fully on a cherry blue board, not hold them up or anything, and the key won't even so much as budge, you actually gotta strike that thing. I've been using them for ten years, and my neutral position and how I type has adapted to heavy rests being fine, and glancing blows not actuating a key. Put me onto a membrane board or a no resistance mechanical board, and I'll have extra characters all over the place from my resting position for one finger setting off the keys there, or a double strike that'd normally never register for me. You can absolutely learn to operate any of them fine, but its like asking some to learn to love the taste of one fruit over another. Both are just good fruit at the end of the day, but to pretend people don't have preferences is stupid.

I feel like we're agreeing in principle but disagreeing past each other by mistake, so let me make it exceedingly clear - There is NO 'Best' keyboard and anyone telling you otherwise is, optimistically, projecting personal preferences. But any individual can have a favorite style and switch for their keyboards that is absolutely true to their personal preferences and can avoid discomfort and errors when using their device. If Asus tells you "this board will let you type faster" they're being retarded and you should laugh at them. Same goes for mechanical elitists claiming better performances. Its just preference and comfort.

No, none of what you've just said is true. I type 120 words per minute using the Dvorak keyboard layout. Due to the power of Dvorak, I am impervious to the influence of any style of keyboard. Membrane, mechanical. Laptop, desktop. A series of representational lights and shadows cast across the glass face of a throbbing clock. Regardless of keyboard format, I have Dvorak and I will type faster than you, regardless of the nature of the keyboard you may bring into battle. My steed will slaughter your steed and the blood of QWERTY shall flow, the blood of AZERTY shall flow, it is going to be AOEUIDHTNS- AOEUIDHTNS- AOEUIDHTNS-

Why not?

I would love to live in a world without "Linus Tech Tips".
Because all they have done is fuck up review numbers and fucked about with a start up company prototype. And recently produced boring video's that are not as good as they used to be. Hardly wishing death on his family levels of bad. I am not really bothered about cringe political takes, because i don't go to Canadians for political takes and neither should anyone sane. The Troon is kept in his hole. He has not hosted a video since his troon out and Linus seems like he is trying to keep him out of the line of fire.
If he fucks it all up with bad business decisions, it is on his head.

One of the fastest results I ever got on Typeracer was 176 WPM typing on a shitty Logitech membrane keyboard hooked up to a PC I use for troubleshooting servers. Got bored while waiting for something to happen and raced someone to pass the time. I was so proud I even took a screenshot of the win.

Would I type on that keyboard all day everyday in spite of the fact I can definitely type fast on it? Hell no. It's fine for goofing around for 10 minutes but vs a mechanical keyboard whose layout and key switches you've picked out to match your tastes, it's simply uncomfortable.

You're free to type on a $5 membrane keyboard if you want, those things aren't going extinct anytime soon, but for weirdos like me who literally type all day for work and spend a lot of time typing in their personal time, $100 vs $5 for a keyboard is absolutely worth it not to feel any discomfort.

Bottom of the barrel OEM keyboards thrown in with office PCs are going down the shitter though. That Logitech keyboard is luxurious compared to the shit that Dell is pumping out nowadays :( I always bring a mouse and keyboard to every place I work at given the trash-tier quality of OEM peripherals these days.

I do agree that people who are flaunting woodgrain custom keyboards that cost $500 to children on YouTube are cancerous, but acting like anything above a membrane keyboard is a total waste of time? Retarded.

"Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you” (Matthew 5:43–44).

If your enemies found peace, they wouldn't be your enemies. While I'll laugh and point fingers at Linus mistakes I don't wish him bad

The concept is good but the i/o utility is completely lost doing this, and I think you could get the same result using XPS foamboard (the pink stuff) if you're also using sound insulation. It also doesn't help that you're starting with a desktop on the desk, but now it needs to be on the floor, when you do so because of space limitations already.

So many times now I'm looking at his videos wondering "did you need a writer for this video? really?"
