Kiwis, today I present the story of a lolcow who may seem obscure but has had an online presence for nearly 15 years. Those with MySpace and LiveJournal accounts may recall Ophelia Vanity and her obsession with Hollywood heroin chic, vague and yes purple prose, and copypasta rambling viewed as beautiful by scenefags of the early to mid 2000s. None of this matters anymore because she has reinvented herself and is now attempting to be a kawaii living doll™.
During her MySpace days, Ophelia busied herself by shooting up, talking and writing about shooting up, starving herself and moderating the now non existent group called Vanity is Perfection (VIP). Supposedly, thousands of requests were received per day, but only 1-3% were accepted.
Below is a sample of the content posted to her MySpace account but was likely also posted to other websites such as LiveJournal or the now defunct melodramatic.com. Sadly, I cannot find any screen caps of her old summaries or poetry due to her proclivity for deleting posts and comments. Therein lies an adequate summary of persona in those years.

She claims quite the sob story- with an eating disorder, drug addictions, a plethora of hidden talents and special interests, mental illness. All wrapped up in delusions of fame and glamour.

She despises being Asian and has spent years trying to appear as white as possible.
From time to time Ophelia makes self deprecating, stereotype based jokes about her heritage as a way to secure much patting of her ass by thirsty men and women bizarrely desperate for her approval.
She ran a proana web page where she and other eating disorder obsessed spergs came together to compete and show off their shooping skills in making themselves appear like skeletal models. More recently, she doesn't have much in the way of that type of following, but that doesn't stop her from posting thinspo photos- of herself.

Sadly, her anorexia and obsessive use of heroin and amphetamines has failed to draw the attention she feeds on. She kept a relatively low profile for a number of years and has recently resurfaced touting the title of kawaii living doll.
She appears to have a small circle of white knights who will jump to her defence against critics and skeptics. This can be observed in the comments section for many of her Instagram photos. None of that, however, is more amusing than watching her chimp out in captions and comments.
One of her favourite sources of gaining more likes and ego stroking comes from stealing images belonging to different Instagram and Facebook accounts and claiming to have been the models shown throughout when, clearly, she looks different to the individuals pictures in these photos.
She ran away to Australia with a man she was dating, spent over a year there but has since moved back to the United States. While in AU, she was in a very professional photo shoot and this caused a rebirth in her obsession with being famous and sought out by professional photographers.
In her latest ventures she spends her time frying her hair blonde in efforts to look like a Barbie, taking provocative selfies, showing off dresses she made from scraps of material because she is now a clothing designer
, detailing her struggles with Graves Disease, and editing her photos to make herself look even sicklier, provocative, and more alien-like than is necessary.She blesses Instagram and her Facebook fan page with various photos showing a clear use of filters, including photo shopping her asymmetrical eyes to such an extent that she barely looks human, though this is not to say that she resembles a Barbie.
She likes to quote herself and fancies herself a poetic genius.
Promiflash, a German gossip site mirrored a short video they made about her on Youtube.
