The type of people that were on the old Internet like Something Awful, Newgrounds, & later 4chan were not some righteous moral crusaders or Christian right wingers. They were people that were willing to shit on anyone & everything for the sake of a joke. I would say more: these people are trying to tarnish the Lord's name. While people will say you are sperging for "NAXALT", and it is understandable, I believe religion should be off limits for that sort of thing. Explaining further below:

Canon ages matter much less than design. If the character looks childish then that's much more problematic than trivia on Wikipedia about a character being underage despite having an adult design.

Especially given in anime there usually isn't much difference in appearance between a character who is 16 vs 20. If the characters age isn't mentioned or implied in the series I can't blame someone for not knowing.

These reactions prove everything I've been saying. They don’t actually care about the line they claim to draw. Saying shit like 'I won’t engage with her, but others can' or 'these guys freak me out a bit (OH JUST A BIT???)' isn’t a moral stance — it’s a way to look clean while staying complicit. If they truly believed the character was indistinguishable from a real child and that mattered, they’d condemn the sexualization outright.

Instead, they just distance themselves enough to not get burned, while quietly tolerating everything they supposedly oppose. The line isn’t there to protect anyone — it’s there to protect their image. And that tells you all you need to know.

Call me autistic but you know how japanese people have this weird obsession with a characters biography, age, blood type, 3 sizes etc... I feel like when theses pedophiles are creating their lolis characters, it goes like something in the lines of:

"Hmm I'm done creating this character that acts like child, dresses like child, looks like a child and that I based on a real 10 year old child. However if a sexualize this (10 year old) character it will be a problem... Oh I know, lemme just add a couple zeros in front of the number 10 and done. Theres this character from the Dead or Alive games, Nyotengu her age is 1018, weirdly specific but sure whatever this character was obviously created by some horny bastard, but there's another character that is supposed to be demon and that also have a weirdly specific age. The character is Kanna (not that one) and her age is 1014. Very subtle huh. Now look at this character and you probably know where I'm going here with this line of argument. "14 years old big no no, 1000+14=1014 no problem."

It's accurate to your description. Claudia likes having Lestat and Louis be her parental figures at first because her mother died but gets massively frustrated over the years. She eventually flips her shit so hard that there's no other choice but to kill her and Louis angsts about it.
