Thread OP is extremely weak, it reads more like a stream of consciousness about why you wanted to make the thread instead of an actual description of the thread subject, nevermind the lack of examples. Seeing a such a low-effort thread for such a pitifully low-hanging fruit is, frankly, baffling...

Here are some tips:
  1. Go on anime porn sites like Gelbooru, and search the forums for keywords like "banned" and "tracing", for threads about artists that are no longer allowed to be posted after they were caught basing their art off of real minors. Make a list of all the names, or at least tally them up, something like "It never happens? That's funny, because here's how many times it happened in just the past year, just from a cursory search:"
  2. Find the aforementioned artists on social media (or wherever they post their art) and tally up their followers, or find archives of their older accounts at their peak if they got suspended, and highlight the ones with large followings comparable to other prominent artists (no idea if it applies to any popular ones, but if it does it'd make for a good gotcha in the OP)
  3. Every horrorcow needs a bit of lighthearted cringe/funny to help wash it down, go on one of those anime meme subreddits and search "loli" and collect the absolute worst attempts at humor you can find.
  4. Put more of a focus on written content, especially social media/forum posts or comments under images, with links to places you can find these posts easily (hashtags on twitter, or keywords to search for on hentai site forums, or just the wider forum pages of loli-centric sites like allthefallen). Not only does this add more variety than just posting the kinds of things lolicons fap to, but they also say more about the posters themselves, from deranged fantasies to spaghetti-spilling autism. It's also easier to stomach for most than the actual images, and so would make for a more active thread if there are ways to contribute that are more accessible to more squeamish users.
  5. If you're going to post excuses/defenses lolicons commonly make, then you should actually directly address them. Presenting counterarguments to your point that you don't give a direct response to is really shooting yourself in the foot, it's like those World of Warcraft ads that showed real reviews from customers shit-talking the game and instead of refuting the claims they just had a CGI character say "What nerve, a mere mortal calling us noble dragons lame? It is you who is lame, stalker child!" Posting some random porn game and highlighting the number of reviews (nobody cares) as a non-sequitur response to the arguments instead is baffling. What do the reviews say? Any eyebrow-raising praise? What happens in the game? Is this really the worst H-game you could find, or just the first you stumbled across? I'm sure there are far, far worse games out there if you actually make any effort to look.
  6. This is one of those topics that will often devolve into petty slapfights that are carbon copies of every other petty slapfight over the same topic. A low-effort OP that looks like it could've been pulled from an argument that two fourteen year olds had on twitter 6 years ago, will attract responses that also look like they were pulled from twitter arguments. Using shallow twitter talking points that probably already have 5 image macros and 3 copypastas tailor-made to counter them, will just result in the thread being shit up by those image macros and copypastas, until it looks like it crawled out of Mass Debates and has Plagued permanently emblazoned next to the title. The OP even misses obvious, easy examples like Shadman and Minus8 for crying out loud! Even then, people might still respond with how Shadman is reviled even on 4chan, and how Minus8 gave up drawing loli, or how he's a pedo irl but at least never traced so it it says nothing in particular about his fans, or some other thing, so pepper in some more examples showcasing a wider trend (see points 1 and 2) so they can't just drive-by with pre-prepared responses en masse.
  7. Most of the arguments about legality in the US hold little water. Regardless of how ambiguous wording can be interpreted, the only interpretations of the word of the law that matter are those of actual judges. If you can't find convictions that aren't "this convicted sex offender violated his parole by downloading this" or "he had 1200 counts of real CSAM and we threw in the dozen or so drawings we found too to jack up his sentence", you can file it next to all of the legal arguments teenage shoplifters send each other about how they're totes legally untouchable if they just follow the guide in this tumblr post!!! Real law is concerned mostly with how it involves real-life minors. Was it sent to one? Was it traced off of one? Is it meant to depict one (like "my niece" or "that child actress herself and not a character she plays")? Does it use an edited photograph of one, even if it's shopped onto a legal adult's body? If it's AI-generated, does it have a training dataset containing images real children (including SFW ones it might still reference when making NSFW), or is it being used to edit a photo of a real child? There are many cases of these being violated (like shadman, who seriously should've been mentioned at least once in the OP) that not only serve as more damning examples than something like "he drew lisa simpson naked!" but also leave much less room for debate or scrutiny, which is something you'll have to genuinely be mindful of when writing a thread for a contentious topic prone to spergery like this.
Overall, this thread feels more like a rushed outline than anything resembling a rough draft, and it has basically no examples of anything—even when there are multiple relevant threads with thousands of posts that you can pull from. I know PG is for unfinished threads, but I kind of assumed you had to have something before you post. If that's really all it takes these days, I might as well post the unfinished skeleton outlines of the threads I'm working on here and let someone else finish them.

Sorry bro, I should have specified that by 'pedophiles' in the context of my post I meant lolicon/shotacon defenders which are the topic of this thread. I am not exactly sure why it got you riled up so much.

Personally, I wouldn't use word 'obnoxious' to describe literal child rapists. I think 'should be executed via scaphism asap' sounds better for them.

iirc wasn't there a lolicon artist that got busted for tracing their artwork off real CSAM? I've seen it mentioned here a couple times but I've never been able to find a source for where that claim came from.

It's obviously your ball, but please don't skim on the history portion. I have never even thought about how this stuff even got popular in the first place. An historical explanation would be very interesting, at least to me.

You might also want to look into the myriad modders who create loli/shota coomer content. They used to be tolerated in the modding community for years until somewhat recently. It was even pervasive in certain grand strategy games for a short while.

Lack of mentioning Shadman went over my head because I see him as a cartoonist so I wouldnt use japnese/oriental term for his works . But if OP is going to bundle groups besides asian artist/media I think its worth at least mentioning cubporn as well since that is the preferred flavor of degeneracy for furries

My opinion is that Japan has its own nerd culture which a lot of nerds in the west have taken to, because their local industry is stagnant and shows contempt to them. And we have leftchud culture warriors who use activism against Japan's drawn smut as a blunt instrument to attack Japanese entertaiment, on behalf of western entertainment which has lost out on weeb money for decades.
OP probably isn't paraphrasing directly off them, but he's got as much vitriol on the subject. Bottom line is, Japan doesn't need westerners fucking around with their culture. Because it isn't our culture. Countering the efforts of figures trying to doesn't mean endorsing Japan's pornographic drawings either.
I'm a weeb and have always found it easy to avoid lolicon. It doesn't interest me, but knowing it's there doesn't make me angry either. There's sure to be some of it that can easily be conflated with CSAM, but even that's got to be an extreme. Japan's sex crime statistics by Japanese perpetrators are quite low compared to other countries, so I don't buy into the notion that lolicon or shotacon are gateway genres to CSAM and real-life diddling.
There are definitely individual weeb activists mentioned in this thread that you can watch and post about. Hugboxes exist that enable these individuals to think it's a great idea to advocate for lolicon or shotacon that are also worth keeping eyes on. But all in all, I think efforts like OP's would just turn into an indiscriminate dumpster fire.

Considering that every lolicon and shotacon has the same pathetic copes and "arguments", when called out, you should list the common responses you will get from them as well, or signs you might be dealing with one. Examples of them trying to defend their fetish as an artstyle or something that's legal(and therefore moral) would be good, too. Often you will see them post a compilation of "Dr. Pizza", a vocal lolicon hater who turned out to be a pedophile in possession of CP and went to prison for it. Lolicons will often make strawmen arguments out of this and imply that the only reason you see something wrong with lolicon/shotacon is because you're a pedophile yourself. This could be included in the "Extra Stuff" section.

Japan's everything statistics are low because they only prosecute those crimes that they know will end up in the guy behind bars, otherwise their courts wouldn't have such a clean track record. And seeing that multiple high-profile figures within the jap manga industry, like Ruroni Kenshin's author, Nobuhiro Watsuki, or Kenya Suzuki, whose main work looks like this
