There was a story not long ago about some Chinese company marketing that shit as well under custom orders, but they went the "extra mile" by modeling the dolls' faces off of actual children whose images they pulled from the web. They got unlisted very quickly when that was uncovered, but I don't know if they actually got in legal trouble over there. (Ah, I already mentioned this months ago lol.)

Just in general, the sex doll industry has been booming as of late, so it's not surprising some freak was going to tap into the pedophile market in the name of "protecting real children".

Quite a bit to list here without going off-topic, but legit, Higurashi no Naku Koro ni is one of my all-time favorites, and it's gotten tainted in recent years by the lolicons and trannies. I've already expressed my concern that Ryukishi07 has traits that make me go "uhhhh", but I can promise you that up until relatively recently, Higurashi fans weren't considered lolicons, just fans. They come from all walks of life, and When They Cry fans are some of the most dedicated out there, though they tend to also suck R07's dick too much. Shitsugou (as I call it) is controversial for a good reason. It split the fanbase, and also ended up bringing in the lolicons and yurifags because I can't help but be convinced R07 is also into that, although someone at Passione (likely the director given his résumé) might've been more into it than him because R07 admitted he just wrote some barebones script notes and then let Passione do whatever they want with it (though the "Eua" loli form was something he annotated in the script as a "joke").

But then again, he was working with Tomato much more closely for the manga, and uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh... I recommend checking out the Ryukishi thread in Multimedia if you want to see the trainwreck (heavy spoilers for those interested in anything WTC).
