Lunacid Dev Adds Pronouns to Own the Hecking Chuds

Developer of the King's Field-like indie game Lunacid, who is a mentally ill 'non binary' furry on Twitter, recently released the 1.0 update for the game. Among the changes included a pronoun selector.

Apparently this caused a lot of drama that I can't actually find, either because its been erased or never happened, since the dev then released this official steam announcement a couple days later

Where he openly admits he only added them to piss people off. Apparently according to a few negative reviews the dev said some stuff on discord or twitter that I can't find. The Steam forums are a mess because of this, and all the undesirables have come out of the woodwork to own the chuds.

Just a minor happening, idk how much of a lolcow this dev actually is or if its just a run of the mill twitter user. This came to my attention because I bought the game years ago and saw the update article, trying to get a refund now.

The pronouns are kinda funny because the skeleton in Wings Rest calls you "sonny" no matter what. The players pronouns are never even in any dialogue in the entire game as far as I know. It's a meaningless addition. I'm not in favor of troon bullshit but in this case it's actually somewhat amusing. Not a smart idea on the part of the developer though. No reason to bring that kind of controversy onto the game at release. Retard alert!

I am very much enjoying the game even if it's easy as fuck. Ranged and magic is so OP it's no contest.

When I played it a while ago I was enjoying it until I got to the hub area and it had a bunch of anime demon girls in a completely different artstyle that just killed any sense of immersion I had, then the game became a slog after the first area with like 1 checkpoint per level and when you die you lose all progress, so I got tired of replaying stuff and put it down.

You guys want to know a good way to really piss off troons and genderspecials?

Refer to them exclusively as "that person" or that "individual over there." It makes them mad as fuck because they know you're doing it on purpose to avoid using their stupid pronouns but your not actually misgendering them so they can't do shit about it.

I do this all the time at work and the seething brings me great joy.

Dunno what this game is, never played it, but the funny move on any gamedev's part if they're adding faggy shit like pronouns and gender is to let the player insert whatever the fuck they want in there. So letting them type overly long and offensive words like
Pronouns: Nig/Ger
Gender: McdonaldsAmerimuttKikeKiller1488
It'd be funny on any people's ends

The game had some major troon energy anyway and I'm kind of surprised pronouns weren't originally in the game.

This is also where I lost interest in it, it was okay up to there. After meeting them I stopped caring because obviously the dev didn't care enough to keep the game's visuals in order.

I've never heard of it and now I have, there is no such thing as bad advertising.

The point in the game where there are 2 female vampires that somehow ?created? a son was the point I knew there was some genderspecial freak at the wheels.

I would still recommend the game even tought the dev is a tard for causing this drama, great music, amazing atmosphere and fun exploration
Overall score: Would not 41% myself for developing it

I have never heard of this game, and it sounds like a way to bait outrage publicity after the dev saw Starfield get that from having pronouns.

Well, I guess I'll see this pop up as bundle filler someday. Too bad I'll forget about it and it'll probably weasel its way into my Steam library.

America isn't the sole country of the world and I even doubt things are commonplace there like that person describes.
What happened to videogames supposed to be entertainment and escapism anyway
