They're not. I've seen job applications that ask for your pronouns, but that's really it. There was another time when I was waiting for a public bathroom at a place with single toilet rooms for both men and women, and the men's was taken, so a teenager ahead of me just gave up and said "I'm identifying as a woman today". Made me smile.

He's in NC. I'm sure he could just move to a metropolis like Charlotte and find some fellow pronoun police to befriend, and betray after a week.

Wow, it's almost like the dev made it all up for sympathy points and/or to purposefully piss people off because said dev is a horrible excuse for a human being.

I take back everything. The dev is an absolute fucking retard. He changed the rebind controls menu into just a text file. He had a perfectly functional rebind menu in game that worked exactly how you want. You click on the action you want to rebind and then press the button you want. Simple. Effective.

Now this dumb cocksucker expects me to rewrite a text config file and just magically know what I need to write in order to rebind the magic spell buttons to my side mouse buttons. And I can't even holler at this fucking faggot on the steam discussions because I've been banned for being transphobic because I said he was stupid to apologize and he should have just owned the pronouns bullshit instead of lying that he was sorry.

Fuck him.

Can confirm that almost EVERYTHING has been deleted. It started off as people getting their threads buried, then locked, then banned, then permabanned, and now thousands of comments have been memory-holed overnight. I've been at work for 4 hours and it's all just gone, and I'm permabanned because autocorrect called the troon "him." I didn't get to screencap any of it, I didn't get to talk shit, I didn't even get the chance to be genuinely transphobic- I feel like I've been robbed twice now.

As for KIRA, well, this has got to be the most sudden and absolute career suicide I have ever seen from an indie dev. Celeste at least died with a fizzle, this didn't even get the chance to explode. You had trans and NB people saying "please don't weaponize our pronouns," or "I don't like why you did this" and even all their posts are gone. This is as scorched earth as you can get without removing the entire game from Steam. I'm not mad. I'm just disappointed. Lost in Vivo and Spooky's Jumpscare Mansion were cool. Lunacid was cool too, but now it's gone from schizopost King's Field to unmasked disdain for paying customers. Also the endings sucked. I waited years for this shit, and I can't even refund it now. I can't even optimistically wait for the incoming spergout on Twitter because KIRA and his hugbox have the entire revolt on lockdown. I have to wonder how much further the shockwave of the HeelVSBabyFace rant are going to reach now, though. This is potentially the start of a massive, collective tranny dev spergout. There's that to maybe look forward to.

I did snag a screentrim of STUNNING&BRAVE.txt which teaches you where to make the pronouns NIG/GER or to delete the file entirely. Just want to smudge the metadata before I post it.

I really don't understand why devs do this. Much like biological women (ironically) troons don't buy or play videogames. They'll virtue signal on Twitter but they'll never actually support you with you know, actual money by buying the game.
