💰 Grifter "Mad at the Internet" - a/k/a My Psychotherapy Sessions

"Nearer, My God, to Thee". I think it's this version?
Fantastic! Much obliged.

I will never understand why local Christian radio and churches routinely ignore good music in favor of modern Christian Pop / Urban-lite mediocrity. I wish I'd grown up with old hymns instead of what I did.

The way the Psycho-Stu beer can trick works is you crush it with your hand and at the same time very lightly tap the guy with the heel of your hand so it sells it. It's not like it hurt.

Psycho-Stu was defiantly trying to cooperate with the slam, you can see him reaching for Raja's back to hug onto him and do the move right.
It looked like he put his other hand on top of Raja's head too, so that he could lightly smack his own hand rather than the guy's head

Churches desperately try to look cool to kids (thus becoming the least cool things in existence) instead of doing what kids actually want these days: being intensely traditional and telling people to like it or fuck off. A church should be a place for families to gather and the preacher should be traditionalist but instead they're basically either funeral homes for old folks to die in or live music venues these days.

They should bring out the cool ornamental robes and throat singing in latin, any zoom zoom would get behind a religion were the priests look like cool DnD wizards.

The best part about watching MATI is knowing that niggers don't know how to. And it's important to watch MATI to remind negroes that they aren't allowed to have anything good in life. They're allowed to have Killstream, and Rekieta Law, and the Dick Show, and that's y'know pretty much it. Hey, that's a pretty good episode, NOT THAT A NIGGER WOULD KNOW HAHAHAHAHAHA

Our church has inched closer to this, our preacher going out of his way to call out engaging in faggotry (with kinder words) or cohabitation before marriage as living in sin, but it's always opened with "this is going to offend some of you, but too bad" while I'm sitting in my seat screaming in my head that he's not offending hard enough.

The Orthodox churches seem to be the only ones predisposed to the tough love society needs right now since the Catholics are hamstrung by their reliance on the Pope who has been subverted and the Protestants threw away what tradition they had in an attempt at mass appeal.

This will probably have the opposite of the desired effect but here goes: Josh, please don’t get into a feud with Podawful.
Like I said, I like both shows and you complement each other well, often covering the same subjects.

I too noticed you conspicuously avoided saying “Podawful” going back ages, which I thought was a bit, and that you grudgingly admired the setup. I mean, it is stupid, it is a comedy show about bullshit, but it’s entertaining. And tbh I think Jesse likes your show too, and there may be a bit of envy on both sides?

Deliberately not mentioning Podawful is, well, it’s fair enough to point out that it’s a bit petty - everyone already knows about it and either likes it or doesn’t. Some even give money to both of you.

So, like, don’t turn this into a pointless beef please, you’d be better off with an ally than an enemy.

Rainbow flag me.
This made more sense in my head but fuck itimage (48).webpimage (49).webp

Man, i really like MATI. I literally started watching in 2018 or early 2019, it was when he did a stream on Wings of Redemption, i even went back and listened to some of the older streams that were there before i knew of the Kiwi Farms or MATI, he even had people calling in and saying whatever... I don't watch streamers or anything, but i kinda like that the everlord takes time to make an entartaining and informative show.
That's how I ended up here. I was aware of the existence of Kiwi Farms for a long time, checked out a few threads over the years, but never registered or even really lurked until I got into the MATI stream. And then it took a year from my initial attempt to register until I was actually able to register because the list of acceptable email providers is very strict and my first attempts didn't work.

Anyone got a link to that Neal Mohan song from the intro? I can't find it on YouTube because Mohan is a smelly Jeet.

I have no idea what got in to me yesterday and today, but I put on a country music playlist from Spotify. I realized the best gospel is country and the best country is gospel.

Also, this one is probably one of my favorite songs of all time.

I finally switched off my Excel sheets to an app. They calculated my metabolism at 300 less per day because of how much weight I lost. Gonna be painful reducing my intake even further.
It's a lot easier to put it on than it is to take it off, isn't it?

Life is suffering. But the truly good things in life are worth suffering for, as you well know by now. Complacency is for cattle.

For the men that are already fucked up. Bring back the Civilian Conservation Corp, The Work Progress Administration, and the Public Works Administration. Use glowies to identify these men, and before they do something retarded, draft them into one of these orgs. Fill it with glowies that try to help guide these lost men. Make housing, and education more affordable. Do that not by subsidizing demand (giving students money for tuition/subprime mortgages), but by forcing colleges and homemakers to increase supply. End no-fault divorce. It isn't a magic pill, but I think it would work.

About the biblical canon, the first synod addressing canonization was the synod of Hippo (393 AD). The New Testament hasn't changed since. However The full canon for the old testament wasn't cemented until the 14th and 15th centuries. Which reflects the differences between Catholic, Protestants, and Orthodox.
