It’s probably all still in Switzerland. The pile of crap in front of the home she probably schemed via “charity vouchers” from second hand stores. Most charity stores run programs so “people in need” get store credit to buy household goods, clothing, furniture, etc.., I’m sure Margo would have been getting as much free stuff as she could once she had an abandon house to fill up. Never mind just walking the streets in NYC on garbage pick up in the wee hours is like a free flea market. I have seen amazing places decorated entirely from the sidewalks of Manhattan.

This is my tinfoil: "Laurel Bay" aka Margaret Palermo went back to the home health aide game (possibly as an under the table PT / massuse) after she failed to get ten thousand USD from Cody for pain and suffering via her numerous lolsuits. She worked in this Queens neighborhood and one of the old biddies regaled her with stories about her friend who had passed on, leaving that lovely house a few blocks over to rot while the putz of a grandson stayed in California, what a shame, she always kept the place so nicely. Mags' scammer brain perks right up, and goes to case the place ASAP. Seeing that it is truly abandoned, Margaret Palermo aka Laurel Bay picks the locks, replaces them with her own, gets the electric and wifi hooked up, registers herself with USPS at that address, and happily begins magpie piles in every room of the house.

I think this identity is VERY new, probably only got it this year. And if other posters are correct in their theory that Marge aka Laurel was granted an expedited green card based on domestic abuse, there are programs that allow anonymous name changes at the same time, to prevent the "victim" from being found by their abusive former spouse. The soonest this identity could have been granted is early this year, since Marge was filing lolsuits against Cody under the name "Margaret Palermo" up until late 2023 / early 2024.

The neighbors reported seeing Margaret aka Laurel squatting at this property beginning in May; by July they had figured out her scam and reported her to police, only two months later. "Laurel Bay" was arrested twice in July for squatting.

So Mags has only been using her "Laurel Bay" identity on official documents since May 2024, when she contacted the electric company and US Postal Service to register herself at the stolen address. That's not a lot of time for her to get sucked up into AI database sweeps; she probably hasn't registered to vote or filed for taxes using that name yet, and she certainly isn't legally employed. Laurel Bay is also a place in South Carolina. Maybe Marge stayed in a cheap hotel there on the road with her trucker hubby.

“The suspicious activity started when a friendly neighbor greeted the female, who said she purchased the home,” Marcel wrote on the Facebook page. “I also went to the woman and asked if she needed help, advising I remember the owner, and she had told me [the owner] died [and] the owner’s sister gave her permission to live there.”

Police confirmed the incident to the Chronicle, saying that at 9 p.m. on the July 18, Bay was arrested and charged with criminal trespass at 158-13 99 St. Then, on July 21, Bay returned to the property. Police said the basement door of the house was open and Bay was observed crawling out of the basement window. She was again arrested and charged with criminal trespass.

I could see her family paying shipping in the hopes it would make her move to another continent permanent. I could also see the u-haul being a bunch of crap she got during her three month abusive marriage to Florida man.

Also extra hilarious that after thousands in storage and shipping it all got tossed on the sidewalk and hauled to Fishkill.

Marge got an inheritance from her father a year or so ago. Surprisingly, she's pretty good at living skint and not blowing a big windfall all at once. She mostly used it to file frivolous lolsuits against Cody, but she probably also spent some shipping her various storages to the US.

Ferenc was a chemical engineer who founded his own company, no idea what size inheritance she was up for split between her mother and three other siblings. A five way split could have easily netted her $20k usd though. If you aren't paying rent and are used to living like a povvo, that can last a while.

HA! There it is! She's pleading not guilty, because this is actually all the fault of that psychopathen booly venoos. Somehow Venus has gotten her followers, who just so happen to be her neighbours, to harass Margo so she is kicked out of her home that she totally legit bought and wasn't entering via the basement window.
