This approach being a fundamental belief that he is owed certain things
Consider this train of thought:
If he puts time into speedrunning, he is owed records and recognition
If he "meticulously writes" a 14 page document, he is owed the agreement and consensus of the reader
If he complains about other people, he is owed these people either changing their ways or facing negative consequences
If people put effort into creating things, they are owed remuneration in viewers and/or money
