Is Meiwaku ugly?

One of the most disappointing things is that she lied about her race... which means she was lying about multiple other things. I understand telling lies to throw others off on the site that ospec is important on, but she wasn't just lying, she was LARPing. THAT'S the line. When you start preforming your own lies, you might as well have gone off the deep end. Performing for others leads to disaster. It's just sad.

Thanks to all kiwis who don't powerlevel but are true and honest. Let's all relax and be ourselves without trying to fool ourselves and others. We're here to shit post and gossip, not powerlevel.

I just don't understand why it's so hard for people to not do dumb stuff on the internet, CYA and if you're going to say stuff about your life just make sure that you're vague enough that it can't be pinned down to you.
I think the number one thing would be just don't do shit on the internet that's going to bury you if you're discovered. I mean is it really that hard not to be a creepy fucking weirdo online?

Once upon a time, people could escape to the internet to pretend they were something they weren't without even creating an Roleplay character. You'd make your myspace or livejournal, lie your ass off, and project what you wanted other people to think of you as online. Mei seems to be from this culture as her goth posting shows. Sometimes you grow out of it, sometimes you revert back to old habits if you're lonely or looking for a place to be "the real you", aka, the fake you.

The funny thing is the kiwis & people I've seen do this are usually trying to cover up their personality flaws because they can't stop having their true selves leak through. You pretend to be interesting and it compensates for your less than stellar inner self that sometimes drives people away. It sucks, and I think I would have been just fine if she was honest about things (aside from the loli of course, that's the cut off line). You don't need to be someone you're not to be accepted, but Mei really, REALLY wanted to be liked/known for certain things and it showed with her desperation for the fishtank guy.

I like talking to kiwis about casual things. I like seeing autists rave about their passions. The interesting comes from within the person, not from a construct. You don't need to powerlevel or be pretend cool, I like people because of themselves. But if you're bad inside, sadly, you can't do anything but cover up your shame if you can't convince yourself to change or don't actually want to change.

I've been around long enough to see people who used to post all the time stop posting, not think anything of it, and then I find out why they stopped posting and it's like damn bro I didn't know you were that weird.

Yeah that was what I was the most surprised about, even more than the loli stuff. (Although that could be because multiple lolicons had been outed before already.) I had encountered race larpers before but they generally were wokescolds and/or anime obsessed (thanks Tumblr), but what the hell is even the point of doing it on KF? No one even cares what race you are, if anything being white or larping as white probably gets you more social credit. What actually messes with me is the amount of information about Japan she gave/how much less weeby she appeared (at least compared to other members.)

Anyway It's Okay to Be White.

It’s probably about right tbf… 2 out of 10 is probably a fair and honest rating for bloke in question.

If he were to lose some weight and do something with his life probably go upto a 3 maybe 4…
