I'm loving the Mr Beast drama, there a lot of good stuff in this lawsuit but the one thing I don't see people talking about is no. 7

7. Defendants knowingly misclassified the Contestants XXXXX in part, to obtain a tax credit for two million, two hundred fifty-two thousand, five hundred twenty-three dollars ($2,252,523) from the State of Nevada, which Defendants, on information and belief, would not have received if they had disclosed the Production’s actual labor costs, including the significant labor of the Contestants, in the budget they presented to the Nevada Film Commission with their tax-credit application.

tax fraud, tax fraud will get him. Mark my words.
Donaldson was always trying to ice skate uphill.

@squirrely dan It's only a matter of time before they reach Blighty, as well, over here. I'm actually low-key surprised that they haven't already, like, 2 years ago.

Apparently you can't even sue them if you consume this shit.

I'm not sure where this tweet is from, got it from a youtube community post weirdly enough.
Probably because Disney just tried to pull something like this where a guys wife died at one of the restaurants due to allergies and improper food preparation, and they tried to say since he had gotten Disney+ he couldn't sure them because of the Disney+ TOS.

Maybe a lawfag can enlighten us, but there is certainly a degree of accountability when it comes to buying food and getting sick from it, like with allergies

Except Jimmy's Slopables straight up say "you can't sue us for any reason whatsoever", not "you can't sue us because this slop contains X which some may be allergic to"

My 2 cents, but this won't hold up in court if someone decides to sue anyways

They can write whatever they want on the packaging, but that doesn't mean they're free to get with anything, just like Jimmy thinks with his NDAs :story:

Edit: Gonna parrot what I saw on X yesterday, Jimmy keeps awfully quiet when it comes to the shit going on at his company, but when it comes to affecting his income he sure as shit is quick to respond

My local grocery store had a sale on the MrBeast chocolate bars pre-rebrand, it was like 3 for $5 or something.
They were a solid "ok"; the peanut butter ones were actually decent with a good ratio of peanut to chocolate and the peanut butter was a great consistency - not liquid but not quite to a toffee crisp. The normal chocolate ones were very bleh. I bought some extra peanut butter ones to take on a trip because the chocolate had a pretty hard temper on it and it didn't instantly liquify in your hand, so it made a good thing to snack on the go.
A decent deal for the sale, but not worth the $5 or some shit they wanted MSRP.

Prime is pretty bad. The only good thing I will say about it is the Bomb Pop flavor actually tastes like a melted bomb pop while completely missing the point of why you shouldn't make something that tastes like melted popsicle.

For the Lunchly or whatever gay shit he's calling it, dude is clearly missing the script and trying to just move more of his shitty food products. Raw calories matter much less for kids, what does matter is calorie origins. Its better to have a product that's 500 calories of high quality protein (read: all essential amino acids) and fiber but low on sodium, saturated fats, and processed sugars than 250 calories of sugary soyslop with 1000mg of sodium.

What’s really bizarre about the Disney allergy lawsuit is that apparently the incident happened in a restaurant in Disney Springs which is basically a shopping mall complex that has a bunch of third party restaurants like Morimoto, Blaze Pizza, Polite Pig (aka restaurants that have chains around the nation). So I originally thought that maybe this weird lawsuit came about because of third party complications and Disney trying to get out of a loophole/technicalitcaty but nope it was a restaurant solely on Disney property (Raglands Irish Pub).

But I digress, Jimmys slop with that disclaimer of “you can’t sue us if you consume it no matter what” just seems par for the course because it relys on “consumer responsibility” you’re buying the slop from a store at your own discretion so it can’t even be compared adequately to say consuming Jimmys slop at a restaurant.

I'd have to disagree. A lot of my coworkers had no idea what Dan Scneider was up to until they saw the documentary. It's the same thing with Ava. Only niche groups knew what was going on while the general public was oblivious.
I suppose that could be the case. Most of my circle all had an inkling of what a weirdo Dan Schneider was so none of it surprised them.

I don't get the point of this lunchly drama at all, why are people getting mad at them for launching some snack food brand specifically?, don't get me wrong I would never buy from them as influencer-backed products are overwhelmingly just mediocre, overpriced slop and I get shitting on MrBeast, Logan Paul, and KSI because influencers are a net drain on society and often grift their audiences (remember how many of these faggots pumped and dumped their fans during the crypto boom?), but I think this is the wrong angle to attack with.

Are we REALLY trying to moralfag them for selling junk food when it's not really that egregious, considering there are so much more substantial shit to hate them for?

But, the one thing that should tick everyone off is the fact the MrBeast was willing to associate him and his company to two known grifters just capitalize off of the collective audience, its not really beating the view that public has on him being nothing but a soulless, corporate husk, maybe Jimmy has finally realized that he will never be respected by the wider internet community ever again like he used to, so he just leans to maximizing his margins as much as possible, no longer giving a fuck about his public image
The reason this is a big deal is that at least when a corporation does this shit, they are upfront about being a corpo selling shit to kids.

MrBeast, KSI, and Logan all have a parasocial relationship with their audiences, which are mostly children to sell slop that they say is healthy for them when it is probably worse than Lunchables.

Doesn't help Jimmy uses his food products as part of gambling schemes like with the Feastables so I can see him doing the same with this shit product too.

I hate the route YouTubers like MrBeast, and Logan Paul are going (not that he wasn't already fucked) They KNOW kids are buying this shit, claiming it's healthy, so they belive them. 9 chances out of 10 it has more microplastics than actual foods. Not suprising the PDFile enabler Jimmy lets this happen. And KSI too, dude should just quit Prime/Lunchly cause he's the only sane one.

Rosanna got deets... Did anyone had Jimmy scam billionaires on their bingo card ?

One thing I don't get, why there is so much hate towards Rosanna Pansino? She seems now kinda vindicated with lawsuit against MrBeast being official.
DeOrio constantly dismiss her and calls her a schizo, he even called That Surprise Witness girl a crazy lady,
although she is very obnoxious I don't particularly think both of them are the classic type of BPD, schizo crazy.
Maybe I'm just too oblivious to them, I almost never wathc their content.
I can say one thing thou, DeOrio is very incel like when he talks about one of these woman creators or girls in general.

I dont get it either....sure i dont follow everything she dow but the rare content she did was not brain rot.
Something rare on yt ngl

To a degree, I view him in the same vein I do mamamax. He’s not a cunning supervillain latching onto an easy grift, he’s just very retarded with a hero complex and unwarranted ego levels. Dunning-Kruger, basically. He got fired after only 3 weeks (most of it wasn’t even supervised work, IIRC) and yet he had it in his head that he has it all figured out and he’s the one who’s going to lead the charge against Jimmy. He’s biting off far more than he can chew and he’s only digging himself deeper because he genuinely sees himself as this noble whistleblower figure. And no, that’s not to say we should go easy on Dogpack because his intentions come from a good place or some shit.
This is all true and what I find most frustrating about him. You can have the best intentions in the world but indulging your ego will bring everything you've done crashing down. At what point does "he wants to do the right thing you guys" stop being a valid excuse for being a retard who thinks he's more capable than he is? I'm already at that point, but maybe it'll only sink in for some people when he gets someone fired or hurt.
Dogpack's actions have once again jeopardized potential victims by potentially exposing their identities which the company of Beast could identify. While the pressure Dogpack is facing is acknowledged, it's crucial that he recognizes the gravity of the situation; if he cannot manage these responsibilities, Dogpack should delegate to someone who can.

I have repeatedly attempted to contact Dogpack through personal channels and have warned his associates over the past month about the damage caused to the case (the false accusations against James Warren and not vetting information).
Agreed. And coupled with the screenshots DeOrio releases, I'm surprised by Dogpack's irresponsibility and incompetence, even for a stupid 20 year old.
I can't think of any other reason he won't just step down and disappear aside from ego. I get the sense that he doesn't want MrBeast to be held accountable, but rather he wants MrBeast to be held accountable BY DOGPACK404, which may not seem like much of a difference, but that kind of motivation can ruin the most noble of movements.
It’s funny how he’s trying to make this appeal. Anyone who knows anything about nutrition knows 80 calories is literally nothing. 80 calories less of over-processed slop is still over-processed slop. It’s like when he said his chocolate was healthier for having 5 ingredients. One of those ingredients is a shit ton of sugar, so any potential health benefits are completely unnoticeable in comparison to the large amount of sugar. It’s just such a smarmy marketing tactic. Reminds me of how companies sell artificially flavored sugar water and market it as 10% juice.

He also says electrolytes because saying something like, ‘our slop has a ton of electrolytes,’ sounds way better than ‘our slop is loaded to the brim with salt.’ It’s practically the same thing lol
Someone beat me to it while I was drafting this post but:

I'm actually surprised to hear anyone use the word "electrolytes" unironically. After Idiocracy made "it's got electrolytes" into a meme, you would think anyone who understands anything would know not to market their slop with that phrase.
Jimmy is quite possibly the most creatively bankrupt celebrity on earth. He seems to have absolutely zero originality in anything he does.

2 things:
1. DeOreo is a retard and a contrarian who thinks it's epic and based to shit on everyone and just be in it for the lulz.

2. Rogana Pantano may be right to criticize MrBeast, but she has the stench of clout chaser all over everything she does. That rubs people the wrong way even if Jimmy is worse than her.

Tl;dr, it depends

The FDA enforces a law called FALCPA (Food Allergen Labeling and Consumer Protection Act) that food manufacturers are required to follow. Labels must clearly state that a product was manufactured in a facility that also processes potential allergens like peanuts and shellfish. It’s 100% on the consumer to closely read the labels before making a purchase. Jimmy and co. wouldn’t be able to sell their slop in stores if they weren’t abiding by this.

However, you can 100% file a lawsuit against a food manufacturer if you believe its made you ill. You can even file on cases where you were negligent (basically, strict liability), since by law, it is the responsibility of the company to ensure their product is safe for consumption.

The fact that a food product has lead in its containers is concerning. Some states don’t have bans that prevent lead being used in packaging (kind of horrifying). Kids under the age of six, according to the FDA, should not be consuming more than 2.2mcg of lead a day, while adults shouldn’t consume more than 5mcg. It really shouldn’t be anywhere near food at all. You could technically sue on these grounds, but good luck having it go anywhere unless the packaging is saturated with it or it makes you sick, the FDA doesn’t have regulations for the use of lead in food packaging.

Has nobody learned from AlCapone. Pay the IRS. You either got to be intelligent or retarded to do tax fraud.
