OK so I know "thinktank says" is code for "so just ignore this article" but it has some numbers in it that are quite stark:
"Some 172,040 people were on waiting lists as of December 2023, up from 117,020 a year earlier and more than five times the 32,220 recorded in December 2019."
Just wondering how much of this is driven by autism and ADHD being all the rage, suspect a lot is online munchies taking up resources others need for a change.
Edit, another article, Guardian are buying wholly into this shit, can't say i'm surprised given they've featured thread subjects in the past: https://www.theguardian.com/lifeand...ce of ADHD in,the country for ADHD assessment.
