They look like those insipid webcomics which appear on Facebook's feed page.

At least it's possible to edit the dialogues.

They're hit or miss. It's basically observational humor, boiled down until it condenses into an absurdism. I think it works well about 1/3 of the time, like the one in OP putting a kid to bed; the others range from "uh ok" to "you tried too hard".
