I think the reason the website exists in the first place is because he was completely unsuccessful at trying to get a girlfriend and wanted to broadcast his "desirable" features across the internet. Even people who aren't that successful at dating don't feel the need to make an entire website dedicated to saying how awesome they are.
If he has to keep telling us how amazing and successful and brilliant he is, who is he trying to convince? Others? Or himself?
