This is what actually surprised me the most. I had actually thought they were somewhere near the mainstream, and I was horrified by the fact that I thought this was.

I am so incredibly pleased to find that they were actually utterly detested outside their own little SJW circle jerk and that people are dancing on their grave and the dancers aren't even us.

Its owner going into full panic mode and deleting fucking everything is what I'd call a confirmation that he's admitting he's a rapist.

/v/ is a little different. I've been hanging out there for several months, and I will tell you that there was a lot of discourse and discontentment with the mods. Legitimate threads were/are being deleted with impunity, and ESPECIALLY threads critical of NeoGAF were deleted. It was/is speculated that NeoGAF mods have power over /v/, even today.

I can't find it on the 4chan archive sites, but I quipped once that /v/ at least had the advantage of "not getting banned for having the wrong opinion" but someone replied that it would probably be different in a year or two due to the slow but increasingly hostile actions of mods. After tonight, that shift will probably be accelerated.

The mods are fucking garbage there. moot deliberately let SJWs take over that fucking board. "Wait, you're a leftist, why are you saying this?" Because it's fucking true. All the mod chat leaks from 4chan basically confirm this. Never mind the janitor chats, but they do, too.

To be fair there are a lot of dumb conspiracy theories about the 4chan hotpockets, and chans by nature are a lot less moderated than forums.
