Severe alcohol abuse actually makes it hard to sleep. You can stay up for hours past what's viable, and then not really "sleep", easily "waking up" at 7 AM to go to work and go through the motions. Even though you are still drunk. Saw shit like this in the army and it's a sight to behold. Literal sleep walking zombies. Drunk and hung over at the same time.

Rekieta claimed his wells Fargo boss gave him constant shit for being lethargic on shift. So he went and got that narcolepsy diagnosis. I took this at face value, but now I am 100% rekieta showed up to work either drunk from a late night bender or so severely hung over as to make no difference and his supervisor knew it.

So he went and got a doctor's note providing a plausible excuse for the fact he was visibly strung out on shift.
