NIKKE: Goddess of Victory - This NIKKE Kiwi Farms thread (and also, Doro memes) is... EEEEEEEEEntertainment!!!

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
I didn't have "Min firing rounds adjustment" turned on and would have had no idea that setting existed had I not stumbled upon it in the event guide on blabla.

This setting is definitely a godsend for those on lower end devices playing at 30 FPS, heck it even helps those playing at 60 FPS but are unable to sustain that framerate properly. What I suspect it does is decouple the firing speed of MGs/SMGs/ARs from the framerate; it used to be the case that if your game couldn't sustain 60 FPS, your DPS when using those weapons will take a noticeable hit.

It's also the reason why during co-op Raids with other players when the 30 FPS lock would be enforced across the board, DPS units with certain weapon types (RL) were favored over others (MG).

E.g. For Wind weak Raids. you had to bring Scarlet:Black Shadow (a RL type unit unaffected by this bug) and couldn't use Asuka:WILLE (an MG unit also meta in Wind Weak bosses).

I personally play Nikke on a decent PC (i7 12700KF, RTX 4070 Super) with the 60 FPS setting and enabling it even improved my DPS there since the PC app suffers from FPS hitches now and again. They really need to improve optimization in general, it's the only app that takes minutes to boot up and load even when installed a blazing fast NVME SSD drive.

Managed to pull Red Hood. Was absolutely the DPS I was missing. Though I doubt I will ever get duplicates of her.

Congratulations! She's a beast of a unit and will help you clear every bit of Nikke content there is. Excels everywhere, has no downsides. As for dupes, well the best part about Nikke is unlike a lot of newer gachas these days, a single copy is all you need to get the full functionality of the unit.

Dupes in Nikke only give a minor stat bump per additional copy, a lobby L2D wallpaper at Max Limit Break (base + 3 copies), and a shiny profile icon at Max Core Break (base + 10 copies). Thanks to the synchro device, you no longer need to get a SSR to Max Limit Break to reach level 160 and above.

She definitely lives up to the hype. Glad I didn't even have to bother rerolling and just committed to max limit breaking mermaid.

Didnt realize that's how NIKKE handles max limit breaking. Otherwise I would not have overreacted over the last two pages of the thread and will try to complain less in the future. I guess we can just MLB 5 regular SSR's and level them up to 200 that way? Already throw all the SSRs not in my squad into the synchro machine to save resources. Still no idea why there's 11 copies of the current banner unit in the ticket shop. Nowhere close to endgame yet.

Also had fun getting all the way to the end of normal mode in the new event minigame just working with the basic melee unit and the two heroes. Why is hard mode and the third hero unit timegated? Hard mode is also timegated for story II. Don't remember this being a thing for the Old Tales event.

Was also nice to see Marian's return in the campaign. Pretty heartbreaking we couldn't just bring her back to the outpost with the team when she remembered us after we blew up her mecha.

Modern game engines are just straight up illogical with how they handle basic things like Damage. Didnt really seem to matter if the game was on an emulator or the PC client. This fixed the problem across the board for me. Hardware specs aren't an issue for me, its their servers being slow with the loading times and unoptimized assets.

Azur lane has plenty of loading screens too but its near instant to get into different UI menus or battles with a similar "2D assets with 3D illusion jpgs behind them" setup. NIKKE could also really use a gamemode like "Operation Siren" too. Don't know if it already does but it would fit with the premise of the game as an offensive to retake the surface and establish a foothold. Would also add some much needed replayability for endgame players.

Yep, that's the most "economical" way to do it. One (or more depending how long you've been playing Nikke) of those SSRs would be the freebie SSR given during a .5 or full anniversary, so for this one it would be Mori.

Previous freebies include Rei (0.5 anniversary), Snow White: Innocent Days (1st anniversary), Kilo (1.5 anniversary), Rapunzel: Pure Grace (2nd anniversary).

Nikke has done quite a number of things recently to make the 160 wall break that requires 5 MLB SSRs go more smoothly:-

1. The aforementioned free SSRs (+ enough dupes to MLB) given out during anniversary events.

2. Normal banner mileage points that can be redeemed for copies of Liter/Alice/Naga (100 pulls each).

3. A spare body selector given out at Nikke level 140.

4. Road to Villain event that eventually gives you Drake + enough copies to MLB.

5. A SSR Selector for the past 2 New Year events (only needing 6600 gems to obtain from a special rate up banner).

Hard mode is also timegated for story II. Don't remember this being a thing for the Old Tales event.

Been that way since the beginning for events. For extended 3 week events, you'd have Story I, a week later Story II, then hard mode unlocks a week after that.

Still no idea why there's 11 copies of the current banner unit in the ticket shop. Nowhere close to endgame yet.

It's there so that whales with enough gold mileage can claim enough copies of her to reach Max Core Break straight away. Sure it's an insane amount of mileage requiring 2200 pulls in the first place lol.

Was also nice to see Marian's return in the campaign. Pretty heartbreaking we couldn't just bring her back to the outpost with the team when she remembered us after we blew up her mecha.
Except the Commander did brought her to the Outpost. Where he, the Counters and help from other nikkes, retaught Marian almost everything, since she got mindwipe and had the intelligence of a newborn infant. But with the very close proximity to the Ark and the Central Government knowing about her. Marian couldn't be protected there for long. Hence Commander contacted Pioneer* for help and it was decided to take her to Crown Kingdom. As the Central Government doesn't know of its existence or location.
*Snow White, Rapunzel and Scarlet

Pioneer* unknowingly taught Marian wrong during the trip. Much to the distress of the inhabitants of Crown Kingdom.

Managed to get Little Mermaid. I also unlocked the wishlist feature. Is the list in prydwen legit and put those units in the wishlist? Should I keep pulling on Mermaid banner to see if I get dupes or other girls?

You can look at Prydwen and Nikke.gg lists as general guides, but keep in mind they're mainly made by and for whales. So don't get too hung up on the minutiae if you're more casual. They're quite detailed because on the surface and for casuals it seems a very simple game, but once you get into the weeds of team building and kit interactions for end game content it gets quite deep.

As far as MLB and max core go, unless you're looking to be very competitive (whale territory) or you really like a character and want her burst as your lobby, don't worry about it. A base copy Nikke has all functionality, extra bodies just give small stat boosts. It's not like Genshit constellations that lock essential skills behind dupes. Overload gear and commander dolls / treasures will have a bigger impact on performance than extra bodies.

Siren is, as of now, the best B1. But she's a Support type Nikke, they generally don't benefit from dupes as much as attackers. She's also a Pilgrim, meaning her rates are lower than a normal SSR. I'd say if you're a new player you'd benefit more from getting one Mihara Bonding Chain than Siren dupes. People are complaining about Mihara because she's being compared to Rapi Red Hood, and she comes out lacking in that regard. But when it comes to element neutral and off burst damage Mihara is very good, comparable to the best DPSs in game like Scarlet Black Shadow. Siren's kit also benefits from having 2 machine gun Nikkes in her team, and Mihara is an MG. So I'd say if you already have Siren, get one Mihara.

Didn't get banned, forgot password and email.

Would be cool if they made the manufacturers have their own unique faction identities like the Pilgrims do. The game keeps stressing how important the big 3 are, but they mostly blend together as some blob of generic anime schoolgirls and cafe maids. So instead of being excited for a new SSR. I just go "who is this random shitter in my pilgrim banner?"

That explains why she was really good with two LMG Nikkes. Was using Diesel and Kilo with her. Have committed to max limit breaking her at this point or at least getting her to 2/3 copies with the 200 gold tickets.

Pioneer* unknowingly taught Marian wrong during the trip. Much to the distress of the inhabitants of Crown Kingdom.
I did play through that cute event with Modernia in the archives and it was really funny. Wish we got a copy of that skin for her at the end. Like Azur lane would do for archived events like that. She's a really fun unit to use with her burst ability. Hope to pull her someday. Probably won't. Mermaid's buffs would make her even better.

Was lucky to gather up enough free resources for 300 pulls. This is definitely for veteran players and not beginners who only started last week. Nikke.gg has been really helpful so far. Especially for the map collectibles for the extra free gems and power boosts early on from upgrading the outpost.

What is Max Core Break and can we do that without needing even more duplicates?

After you MLB a nikke, duplicates allow you to enhance their core, you can do it up to 7 times. Each time slightly increases their stats, and if you get up to Core 7, you get a shiny portrait you can use. It doesn't matter nearly as much as limit breaking as it doesn't increase max affection or the ability to level up. There's no way to do it without just getting more dupes.

They aren't ever getting any money from me then. This is insane. Along with the autistic raffle for outfits.

Its definitely been fun so far breezing through most content with Red Hood and Mermaid. I like the Modernia arc of the campaign and Mermaid's story event + her side story. Marian also had some actual buildup and history with the team so we could miss her.

Max core only matters if you get super competitive in raids and PVP, in other words, for whales. I've been playing for over 2 years and only have 1 max core character, Scarlet Black Shadow, because I had autistically been saving pulls until she was released (OG Scarlet was my first Pilgrim and my favorite Nikke), did over 700 pulls on her banner and got very lucky. By the end of my gamba sesh she was Core 5 (meaning 9 successful pulls for her, along with 2 OG Scarlets, 3 Modernias, and several other SSRs, best pulls of my life), so I decided to go for broke and get the 2 extra bodies from the shop for max core.

Over time you'll get more bodies from all the pulls they give you and slowly get core level characters. I have several at core 2, 3 and 5, just from free pulls over time. It'll be harder now because the character pool is larger, but the wishlist on ordinary recruit helps. Especially now that there's also a Pilgrim / Overspec wishlist. That didn't exist until a couple of months ago.

Like I said before. If you really, really like a character go for MLB. Otherwise pull 1 copy, and forget max core.

Funny thing is that the big 3 factions do mostly have units with distinct visual cues that separate them from each other, each representing the theme of each faction.

Elysion for example represents the Military faction of the Ark and Central Government, so base units from that faction are supposed to look "tacticool". Look at base Privaty, Emma, and Helm for good examples of that motif, all are dressed in military themed gear/outfits.

Missilis is all about cutting edge and high tech RnD stuff, and Nikkes like Laplace and Maxwell with their energy based weapons are representative of that company. Schoolgirls like Ein with their "fin-funnel" type weapons also fit what Missilis represents. Basically units with unconventional non ballistic weaponry.

And last but not least, Tetra is all about EEEEEEENTTERTAINMENTTTTTO. So this is exactly where you'll find all the cafe maids, bunny girls, singers, artists, musicians and even mafia/triad/yakuza bosses. Nikkes that serve the entertainment industry and the seedy underbelly of the Ark.

This is not a hard rule, Nikkes that have alts can also have attire more suited to Nikkes from other companies. E.g. Privaty has a Maid themed alt due to certain in-game events and the current meme is that she should just retire from her original job as being part of the Triangle miltary squad of Elysion and just join the cafe maids full time at this point lol.

What is a Doro? I haven't seen any yet.

Is this a Doro?

Doros are a meme created by the community when Dorothy was released. Because Dorothy is a very haughty character with a superiority complex, fans started to portray her as a small animal in ridiculous situations. It became so popular that ShiftUp fully embraced the meme, and even released merch based on it. Occasionally people create Doros of other characters, like your Siren example.

As people on /nikg/ would say:

fucking explode, nikker

You should play the lottery, getting a 1% banner and another SSR on a 10 pull.
My terrible luck in ZZZ and HSR translates to good luck in WuWa, Reverse and I guess Nikke.
