The movie has some big issues, but I still prefer it over Snyder-Superman. Henry Cavil really got screwed having to portray Dark & Edgy Jesus Allegory.

I don't think Routh knew he was signing on for Passion of the Christ either, that guy radiates positivity in everything else he's in, but in Superman Returns they made him into this weird, absentee father. I’ve met a couple MoS fans but Superman Returns was uniquely gross.

It really sucks for an actor to get casted for a character they’re passionate about but the writing absolutely fucks them over. And sometimes they have it happen to them multiple times.
