If this is about SGF specifically, I’m pretty sure Nintendo will be a no-show to that. Have they done anything there the last few years?

Nintendo doesn't do SGF but they do usually drop a direct in early June, which OP has accounted for.

For me personally I am pretty down on gaming this year, especially given Nintendo's plan to sell 40 to 60 dollar Gamecube re-releases. We might get Metroid for Christmas but thats literally going to be it.

I think the current plan is to launch Switch 2 in the late spring so it probably gets revealed in November (or, I guess, January, if they think they can force another good Christmas out of Switch.) I really do think its Metroid, Pokemon (but not this year) and maybe the rumored B-N action game for Switch but nothing else new.

If they're going with a spring launch then yeah, but when would they reveal the system and its upcoming games then?

I was thinking spring too, but then they gave themselves a pretty wide timeframe to announce it in within that Tweet; by March of next year. The president was specific about that only being a window in which to announce it, not launch it, so idk.
 
I'm not watching any of that shit. We're 15 years out from the glory days of the Kinect at E3. I wanna see a white nerdy game developer stiffly dancing to No Doubt, not a bunch of trannies circlejerking over their shitty games that are just tranny versions of something from 20 years ago.

I think it gives them margin to delay again if th situation with the yen somehow gets even more dire but given that their biggest titles in development are for S2, they will have to jump eventually and I think we are seeing the limits on what you can do in a system's end of life already.
