Got to at least get the scale of the new island in mind last night. Just eyeballing it, they damn near doubled the total landmass in the game. I wasn't able to explore much, my SP save is far behind my server save and I doubt any of the "creative mode" like mods work right now. Flying mounts get you 1 shot by missles, and this save doesn't have any good land mounts. Haven't been able to connect to the server yet.

My game had to patch just now, maybe that's something to do with it? I can't connect, either.
 
Finally got to play a little, and had to remove a bunch of mods otherwise the game would just CTD on startup. After getting in I couldn't summon Pals - I could still throw spheres somehow but they'd just disappear with a thud. Literally had to mod it back in. Unfortunate. Also the "limit being lifted" is misleading, since there is a new limit that just uses higher tier souls, and has a higher (double) cap than what was possible previously.
 
So I think I found a couple of mods to improve hatch speed, and Alpha hatch rate. I've just installed them and on the next reboot they should take effect hopefully. I'm sad though since I didn't find a way to set alpha IVs to max like we had before. I've been out of the game for a couple months now and it looks like all of the mods are .paks now that hopefully don't require running the server on windows. I'd like to run the damn thing locally, but Cloudflare doesn't offer a UDP reverse proxy, and doxing my IP is out of the question. In the months I've been away, the modding community has gone in a direction I'm not really a fan of.
